Which of those had no action taken against them?

All had NO action taken against them. 'Experts' predict with absolute impunity! That's why it is futile to listen to predictions - especially about the future 🤣

Apolgies, your last post was so ambiguous I thought you asked were there any actions taken against him for his predictions being so wildly out!

It was actually 17,000 deaths with no comorbidity, but that's none of our business

I first mentioned this when first reported by Dr John Campbell.Apparently for one forum member that was not good enough ha ha.

A more interesting stat though repeating myself here, 640+ under 60yrs old sadly died at the time of reporting.

Maybe he was a Prof Neil Ferguson fan LOL

Did the nurse Dr John Campbell (he is not a medical doctor) give the full picture.

Your source doesn’t usurp my source.Hopefully there will be a Covid inquiry and we will see.

The PM has already stated there will be a public inquiry, and I'm sure he's a man of his word!

Dr John Campbell has worked at various NHS departments including training nurses.Doesn’t mean to say he is less qualified.

Anyone miss the good old days? (just 12 months ago)

You know, the nightly BBC diet of mass hysteria - next slide please...

The panic buying of toilet roll & pasta.

Businesses being closed for no real apparent reason, many never to open again.

The government legislating that you had to stay inside your house under severe financial penalty.

And of course, not being allowed to go anywhere made even more frustrating as petrol slumped to 99p/liter...

But some habits linger on. Panic buying fuel is a thing round by me today. Queues waiting at Morrisons as I drove home.

I preferred the panic buying of loo rolls, only a few quid, I can't afford to panic buy in £100 blocks LOL

We panic bought loo rolls yesterday. Partner and her daughter at home a lot during the day now and I'm sure they eat them . They get through them at an alarming rate. So had to bring forward shopping day to last night to restock as the last sheets had gone by the time I got home!! Maybe I need a secret stash.

I thought we were supposed to hoard stuff so the neighbours couldn't have it, not our own families? I'm off to the kitchen to hide the alcohol!!!! 🤣

I see the press today are highlighting that, in most cases, it's still "no visitors" for hospital patients due to Covid rules.

Experienced this just the other week when my Mrs finally had a long delayed operation on her spine. They wouldn't even let me help her in with her things so we had to say goodbye in the car park. No visiting and same when I went to collect her - at least a nurse helped her out to the car park.

The good news is the operation seems to have been even more successful than we'd dared hope. I could see an improvement in her posture and movement immediately and she's continuing to improve daily. Result!😀

I think I wrote here that 6 months ago when mum was in hospital recovering from a stroke, I was allowed a 1 hour/week visit, just horrendous for her. Great news about your wife's op, hope her recovery continues at pace.

Oh that psychopath Sturgeon just announced she is extending the dates of her mask wearing legislation!! (Was expected to end next week) Well I suppose she isn't tossing bombs at the English!

What puzzles me is this. Why, If she believes facemasks are so effective, does she persist in wearing that silly cloth tartan job rather than setting a good example by using a higher spec one such as FFP2, etc?

I see Boris, Mrs Boris and Rishi, among others,  have now got fixed penalty fines over the "Partygate" business.

While I can't resist a bit of schadenfreude over them introducing so many minor restrictions in the first place, I do feel for all the other people who have tried to do what they were told was the right thing.

Particularly sad for those who were unable to say a proper farewell to loved ones without being able to be comforted by family and friends, including HM herself.

Last year my 84 year old mum was admitted to hospital with a stroke. I was 'allowed' to see her one hour/week. At throwing out time, I hid myself in the toilets for 15 minutes, waited for the change in 'visiting' nurse, then popped out to see her again, once I managed a 3 hour visit - I pretty much hate the government and the lack of common sense they collectively demonstrate amongst such expensively educated people!

Can't do other than sympathise, Stephen. My mum passed a few years back after a stroke and her final 12 months in a "care home" were a nightmare but at least she avoided the Covid business.

I must congratulate you on your ingenuity with the visiting, though!

And in today's helping of schadenfreude: I note that Ms Sturgeon has been referred to the police after evidence of breaking her own face mask rules for a second time has emerged.
