Luke4efc
Have you actually tested the alternator to see if it's at fault? Replacing random bits willy nilly in the hope it fixes your problem gets very expensive

Failing that, replacing the alternator ain鈥檛 too bad. second hand, your talking about 拢30/40 for the alternator. New would be about 拢60/70and labour, about 1 or 2 hours. So about 拢150ish maybe less. At 12.4c and dropping I'm surprised you can still start the engine tbh. Should be over 14v when engine running and stay around that figure when you put a load on (radio, lights, heated windscreen, fan on full etc.). Luke4efc
At 拢70 you're only going to get some cheap crap from eurocarparts or eBay that won't last 2 minutes. Spend a bit聽more and get either a Denso or genuine Ford. A denso should be around 拢150 ish.
