Could it be a version of‘Ford Pass’ which is free with anew car for a while, then you have to subscribe/pay for the advanced features?

Ford streaming is for music alone as far as I'm aware.  It's basically Alexa or Spotify directly through the Sync system.  (Rather than using CarPlay or AndroidAuto through your phone.)

Just spec’ed my ordered car on the ford site and its coming in £175 per month more expensive! 

Not far off the 1 year mark since ordered, and still waiting... but definitely can’t afford to lose the deal i got

I ordered a Focus ST Line Vignale in Nov 21, finally collecting it this Thursday cannot wait. Didn’t think I’d ever see this car TBH

 

I don’t know why or how buts it’s registered as 2023, is that normal?

My Focus had the same production date - 7th of Oct (already confirmed with the dealer and I can see the vin in etis), unfortunately delivery date has been set to 22nd of Nov. Apologies for my question, but out of curiosity, where are you from? Cause I'm from Poland and thought it would be pretty quick for them to transport the car (or at least quicker than uk transport for example). Unfortunately for me I guess it doesn't work that way...

Hi, yes all cars produced now will be MY23.  The manufacturing year will normally start in the last quarter of previous year..

I think (in my case that's what happened) it appears in etis few days after production. What's your production date?

Had the same thing before it was finished manufacturing. Once it roles out of the production line you will see the car.

But please note that nothing has changed form my last post! Cars from production go to storage and are not being shipped as there are still small parts missing (Ford still does not want to say what parts but it acknowledges the issue to dealers).

That is why delivery dates are being pushed further and further and further.

So, in 3 days, I will have 1 full month since my car was produced and it lies in their parking lot at Saarlouis...

Not sure what I am meant to see on Etis, but if you place your VIN into the Ford Pass app you will also see your car there. Interestingly, on the app, 2 weeks ago or so it was just an image. Now the option has appeared to 'activate' my car with the app. Is that a sign that it has been built? 

But as @IL Dotorehas said, many cars are parked in Germany. Its just frustrating how hard it is to get any information, or status's as a customer. Not even some dealers are that responsive.

Update on mine, just got off the phone to the dealer.

Ordered 5th Mar.

Build date of 29th Sept slipped to 11th Oct.

Just confirmed that it's slipped two further days to 13th Oct, est delivery w/e 19th Nov.

Two days additional just like Lou013, so patterns emerging here.

Tried to probe a bit on parts supply issues, and they said microchips, "other parts" and a shortage of delivery drivers are causing the delays getting cars to dealers.

Not Focus related but there's more info here.  I ordered a Fiesta last December and the latest update was that the expected date of delivery to dealer is 15th October.  I said should I sort out switching my private plate and he said to leave it till nearer the time. I think that date is highly unlikely

I'm from Belgium, Saarlouis is about ~200km from here, hence I guess the difference of delay. 
But anyway, I won't rejoice too soon, I'll be joyful only when the dealer will phone me to tell the car is there.

Still a bit comforting to read about other ST's produced around the same days than the date that's been given.

Got an update, my ST has left the factory on the 5th of October and is now in transport. It will take up to 3 weeks for the car to arrive to the dealers in Poland.

Thank you Adam! I guess it all makes sense - it took about a month for them to release your st from the factory and then 3 weeks of transport. In my case if I add one month to my production date and 3 weeks of transport I end up with that estimated delivery date my dealer is providing - 22nd of Nov. Thanks Adam, appreciate it!

I got my ST Line Vignale today, I’m in love! One thing that surprised me was that the auto came with the stick shifter, I was expecting a rotary dial?

I thought it was supposed to be a dial too... 

Only the diesels and the ST come with the dial because they have the old torque converter box. The mhev engines come with the stick shift 7 DCT auto.
