New Performance Parts For Your 2019-2023 Transit Connect

These are the TRQ red head performance coil packs for your 2019-2023 Transit Connect. it's been extremely difficult to locate something like this as NO one offers anything performance parts wise for our van. TRQ has a lifetime warranty and because Whoosh Motorsprots was not willing to give us a lifetime warranty on their performance coil packs, we ordered from TRQ instead. TRQ also says these coil packs have been thoroughly tested on the 2019-2023 Ford Transit Connect. So we'll be upgrading the FoMoCo/Motorcraft coil packs very soon.

Next up:

The Connect is known to have an issue with the EGR Valve as there are numerous reports on several forums about this issue. So are able to just clean the valve, But we've elected to just replace it. However some have bene reporting that the error code associated with the Valve is false and should just be cleared. But again we've cleared the code twice and need to have this corrected. So it' looks as if this part is known to have constant issues, so we can expect to replace it again after 3 or 4 years.

Also seen in this images, TRQ suggest that when one replaces the coil packs, they should replace the spark plugs too. We're going with the NGK brand of plugs as these have bene on the van for more than 30K miles so we're pleased with the performance aspect. Ordered these from Rockauto and had to set the gap to .036. Once this is out of the way.. it's time to get to the shop and finish the spare tire cover as well as have the shop weld a new plate for the spare tire mount located inside the van.
