Just had a look using forscan in BCMii and found the retractable mirrors and puddle light.

i haven’t installed new mirrors yet, but I have activated both these for when I do get the mirror. Still have the 2 month free licence for forscan, so might as well use it. Haha.

Ive discovered there are also wing mirrors that contain "Blind Spot Detection" on top of everything else.

Does anyone know if these would work simply by plugging in and activating something in forscan?

if you have 12 pins then you can instal BLIS but that need looms and modules as well not just mirrors - around 600+

open / close yes off course 🙂 you cant close them manualy without breaking them 🙂 its first mod on my car and absolute must have

Not to burst anyone's bubble but if you are fitting these to a mk2.5 focus  2008-2011 the FoCCus software will not be able to active the mirrors as that program, is for the 2011 onwards focus,

You need the elmconfig software http://civil.iffc.ru/ELMConfig/   this will turn on the mirrors and the puddle lamp but will not allow you to enable folding with remote (only via the switch inside) there is only one program and adaptor that will allow you to do this and its called UCDS.
