Khalerux
Hi all, Quick one hopefully. It appears my passenger wide wing mirror indicator bulb isn't working. Is there a quick way to find out if this is the bulb or fuse (are others linked to the same fuse?) before attempting to replace the bulb?. If it does turn out to be the bulb, can anyone recommend a replacement bulb?. Thanks!
jeebowhite
Sounds like its the bulb, as the fuse covers the circuit not the bulb. What is the car? (just to confirm its the 2010 Focus Econetic?)
Lenny
A good time to upgrade to silvatec bulbs, One of the first things I've changed on my focus to get rid of the fried egg appearance, For side indicators you need these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SILVATEC-CHROME-W5W-SIDE-REPEATER-CAPLESS-WEDGE-PAIR-BU501-/221219188949?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3381b0f0d5 For the rear units you need http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ULTRA-SILVATEC-BU581S-CHROME-OFFSET-PIN-INDICATOR-BULBS-/270946376101?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f15a999a5 Wear gloves when installing because finger prints can damage the chrome finish on the bulbs, They look much better. Khalerux
Yep, it's a 2010 econetic Focus. I'll have a look into those bulb too, thanks! Are they a bugger to change?.
jeebowhite
Not overly, its just carefully getting into the housing thats the hardest part... and thats not overly complex!
