    An induction kit like the j1, try autospecialist or Collins performance do the k&n one. I have the k&n panel filter and noise is minimal.

    Depends what you mean, - some peoples idea of the best sounding induction system/ kit is a completely silent one!

    A cone filter is generally louder than a panel filter but one that draws air from under the bonnet s liable to lose power due to heatsoak

    Unless you get the itg which goes under the passenger headlight to draw the air in, which Is less prone to heat soak I think ?

    I have the pumaspeed one, it drops below the passenger headlight, doesn't suffer heatsoak. Difference in induction noise is minimal, but you do hear the recirc valve more (turbo hiss)
