Things I Don't Like

Featured Replies

Oh, and to add to my problems the current stress at work is causing a resurgence in my panic attacks.  I hadn't had one for months and in this week alone I've had almost ten.  Even when it was at its worst before I only averaged 5-6 per week, so this is the worst I've ever had.  There was me thinking I was being good cutting down on the alcohol and not smoking.  Well stuff that!  I'm back on the booze again and tomorrow I'll be buying a pack of Marlboro Red.  Maybe I'll improve my health when I have a job that doesn't make me feel like crap every day.

I don't like that the paint colour in after is in between all the colour charts (dulux, crown, MacPherson, little green, farrow and ball etc), there has to be another chart that is in the middle of them all!!! Or maybe the colour doesn't exist :o

A dark grey colour that is a bit bluey, but also a hint of dark green, but not so green it looks like a green...... But not so blue it looks like a blue... So more bluey, less greeny,..but also more greeny less bluey...

A dark greyish, blueish, maybe greenish colour?

That sounds a lot like Ford Avalon Grey :D

I don't like finding have my shed roof flapping about in today's stiff breeze:huh:  Katie removed half a sheet when she was gusting at her height, but it seems she loosened a lot of the other fastenings too.

The current forecast isn't dry enough for re-roofing sheds, so I've had to cover everything inside with several tarpaulins and tie another over the flapping roof:sad:

On Brandy's walk tonight, a Peugeot 308 went by with the dullest blue headlights, not blueish white HIDs: really blue like police beacons, only very dull ones.  I'm surprised the driver could see enough to drive on them:ohmy:

Vicious circle you need to break out of. If you want to make lifestyle changes, it's best to make them in the present. If you're cutting back then you're probably feeling the effects which is exacerbating your other emotions... Stay strong Jamie.

....the preacher -_-

Nah, not really to be honest - was feeling fine until the excrement hit the fan at work, which would always make me feel like this.  You're right though, so we'll see what happens.

Thanks Preacher Ian

I love cleaning my car...

What i dont like is what happened cleaning the car last night... When cleaning, we have both garden gates propped open. With the wind as most of us know last night was terrible. The wind hit the top gate and with some great force swung towards the front of my car... It is a good job i was drying off the front bumper at the time, as i looked up and saw the gate flying towards me and the car i dropped my bucket and mit and took the full force of the gate... put my arm out and left leg and took it. Now sort of wedged between the gate and my fez... my dad runs over to get the gate off, pick up the panels that had come off due to the impact of my knee... To save the front end of my Fez. At the cost of no skin on my ankle, a bruised knee and thigh and no skin on my wrist... as i was on a schedule had other things to do, I picked my mit and bucket back up and cracks on ;) after drying off, cleaned the glass it starts with terrential rain... me and my dad just stood there looked at each other and said f*ck this.

I'd have done the same!  Human skin heals for free, but any kind of bodywork repairs to a car requires money!!

I don't like thinking I was doing good putting my work trousers in the washer, only to remember that it is Friday tomorrow and therefore dress-down, so I won't need my work trousers until Monday!

One less job over the weekend

Just instinct mate! Would have been a "good" excuse to our lass for me to get a new Zetec S grille on order though ;) Start my upgrade to the front end;)

Nah, I wouldn't want that to be fair...

Continued from the I like thread, I don't like how rough I feel this morning & Cheryl feels fine.  There are also numerous pictures of me & Cheryl asleep, me standing up against the fridge freezer & Cheryl on the floor next to me.

Don't like the jeffing rabbit has chewed the curtains.  Swear down that thing is going to end up in a stew when Amelia isn't looking

Don't like the heron fishing in my pond yesterday, taking all the 16 fish I bought and put in Sunday afternoon

All of them? Wow, we never had that at our old house, only the odd one or two. Were they all quite small?

We don't have a pond at our current house, but my dad's said if/when he does, it'll be built to be a heron and cat proof fortress, lol.

I dont like the fact I have grown to hate my job with a passion.

needless to say CV is updated!

Yep, all except 1 of the fish I bought but heron had one of the three larger fish I originally had in pond. Fish I bought were 4 to 5 inch size. Bet heron was full by the time he finished.

My daughter just text me to say my visitor from yesterday was back in the garden attempting to continue his fishing quest. Luckily our dog frightened it off this time.

BBC Women's football.. Both wearing white kits..................

They've taken gardeners world off for that!  Means I'm stuck watching Masterchef now.

Well, that's one way of looking at it.

My stomach feeling how it does, in precisely 12 hours the love of my life & the mother of my children will be walking up the aisle.

dont like candy blue fiesta with white roof , mirrors and wheels, and dont like white fiesta with candy blue roof, mirrors, didnt look what colour the wheels were on that one

Don't like that my watch stopped 3 days ago...  But I feel naked without it so have been wearing it ever since...  At least it's right twice a day.

I also don't like that there are 5 'local' Timpsons shops...but none of which in the town I'll be in for a few hours on Monday.
