I don't like that my broadband speed and TV channels still haven't been updated yet (posted in things I do like yesterday) after 23 hours and several reboots. The TV box is still telling me to upgrade to watch the channels I'm now supposed to get, as well as access to box sets.

So, the changes I made to my BB and TV won't take effect until wednesday, which is not what I was told over the phone when upgrading.
They don't even need to send a technician out as it can be activated automatically and no extra wiring is required as it is already in place and uses wi-fi/ethernet instead of a coaxial cable. They are basically sending a technician out to just deliver the new updated box.

People who load the dishwasher from the front instead of the back 🙄

I still don't see how dishwashers actually clean anything...  Pretty sure I couldn't wash up by just firing a water pistol at one side of the dishes for half an hour...

If it worked like washing machine I'd get it...but appreciate there may be a few breakages! :whistling:

My don't like for today is that I never learn from my indecision!  Saw something in Tesco that I need/want for the new place, half price 'reduced to clear' on Tuesday and quite a few on the shelf.  "Hmm, do I really need it?  What if it's not as good a deal as it seems?  I'll feel a fool if I rush in now and see it elsewhere cheaper tomorrow!"  I left it...went back yesterday after realising it was a fantastic deal and I wouldn't get anything similar for the same price...and of course they had all sold out!!  It was also store specific so not on offer in the Tesco on the other side of town either. 🤦‍♂️

I know it seems trivial and there's nothing I can do about it now but I still can't just forget about it after almost 24 hours!  This happens so often though, especially with cars!  The next step will be to over compensate by rushing into a more expensive deal on a worse quality item...

I'm with you there! Although I guess the idea is that you don't have to stand there with a water pistol for half an hour...

We have a two part dishwasher system; 1) the dogs 2) the dishwasher

Drew Pritchard, the antiques guy, reckons the time to buy something is when you see it. If you like it and the price is right, what's stopping you? Especially somewhere like Tesco, buy it and take it home, if you don't like it.... put it back 😉

My biggest regret not buying something? I sold a few old bits and pieces to a dealer just outside Inverness, he had a couple of large Budweiser neon signs for sale that were on sale for about what I sold him my stuff for. I dithered over it until I came home, sent him a message asking if they were still there, and they were sold! Would have been a bit of a pain getting it home safely so maybe it's just as well it was sold.

There's quite a few of us with the same indecision. Took me 6 months of looking before I bought my Mondeo. Could have bought the first one I saw really . I have the need to research to the enth degree when buying any thing ( except food shopping but even then it's a lidl or Aldi first then Tesco for anything remaining)

I have quite the opposite problem - impulse buyer! When I went to see the ST, as soon as I saw the thing and while I was still having a look around I said to the guy “I’m having it” and then figured out how to make my work later. Whoops

Your not the only one. When I went to view the fiesta a have now. My dad had to go work the same day. I feel the rush and stress he had because of that made him overlook some stuff on the car. The car ran great but the previous owner said he'll send paperwork of the work done on the car which nothing has turned up since so was lieing plus found next day on a cold start one of the injectors were leaking so decided to get all reconditioned considering the mileage. Today it runs well and haven't had any serious problems with it. Current problem really is that 2 of the wheels are buckled so put them on the back.

Same here. Thought I got in trouble 😅

Refer to my latest post on that thread.

Half asleep and instead of deleting one of my posts i accidentally binned the whole thread.

Apologies all for any inconvenience.

I don't like driving a car that is common as muck,
When this Black ST Hatch drove past the Black ST Estate (like mine) was right behind me, 3 Black Mk3.5 ST's within 30ft lol.

Similarly, saw 3 MK3 RS’ and a MK2 RS all within 5 minutes on the M5 today! Plus two RS6’s, an M2 Comp, an M3/4 and an M5 and a beautiful old M635Csi. Was like a mini car show.

Maybe there was a show somewhere?  Some do start early in the year, I know it's Ultimate Dubs next weekend so you'll probably see some stance and fitment on the M5 then!

I see club meets in various car parks quite often.
Local one to me is FODAC, they left me a joining card on my windscreen once but as they are on Facebook only and I don't do Facebook the offer wasn't taken up.

I saw a Ford meet local to me on Facebook over the weekend...  Thought about going until I remembered I drive a VW...

Lol, true...  I don't have any desire to return to those any time soon!!

On another note, has anyone seen the cheap under-door draught excluders anywhere lately?  Poundland used to sell them, I forget how much for. But I can't seem to find them in any cheap shops now.

This is the sort of thing I mean - rented property so can't screw on a brush bar unfortunately.

Why not just buy that one you linked 😂? That doesn't look to be honest however I don't think the gap on my door is that big for it to fit.

The item should only cost a pound if I can find one locally lol, most of that price is postage!  Plus I'm guessing that particular one gets sent from China....no thanks!!

There's a huge gap under my front door unfortunately.  It leads onto a communal hallway which isn't heated and causes a horrible draught, especially when other people don't close the outside door properly!  Because it's not technically outside they don't bother fitting nice sealed uPVC doors so all I can do is try and draught proof it best I can.
