They made some reasonable cars - the diesels were pretty much bomb proof.

I don't like working Monday-Friday and then also working Saturday and Sunday!! Tomorrow is optional overtime (15:00-21:00) though so I did bring part of it on myself. Need the money though!!

Going to pick up my new exhaust mounts from the Post Office, and they can't find the parcel

Was meant to be in York by now having them fitted and now will probably have to wait til next week if they even find it by then. And it wasn't just me, they couldn't find a package for the guy in front of me which was some motorbike parts for someone who was racing tomorrow, who had come over from America for it. I think to be fair he's in a worse situation than me lol, but as if I needed another reason to dislike Royal Mail this will make me avoid them wherever possible from now on.

Also when I tried to complain they got very defensive, as if it was somehow my fault or something lol.

Edit: they found it in the end and called me back, but too late so I'll have to wait til Monday afternoon :(. Apparently the parcel was in the "wrong box" lol.

Yep I've had that for the last week, mostly better now but it's very wearing. Hope you feel better soon.

I've got many things I don't like at the moment, including Debenhams.

Long story short I ordered a pack of 4 cereal bowls for Cyprus (can't really get them there) last Sunday. Paid £4 for next day delivery. All was well, box arrived, only to find one bowl inside...so I emailed them, got the usual "terribly sorry Mr Robertson" (urm you spelt my name wrong!) And a new parcel was dispatched for the next day with the rest of the bowls.

Next day comes, another parcel, only one ****** bowl again! So another email later, this time betting more heated, I get a response "sorry but we're looking into why this has happened, but it'll take 7-10 days for a response." I said, "well that's RIDICULOUS! I need to take them abroad on Tuesday and paid for 4 bowls!" They've refunded my delivery charge...*******

Rant over, at least the bowls themselves (well the two I have) are what I wanted.

...anyone else just left confused as to the fact that you can't just use a normal ******* bowl for cereal? I mean I can't imagine Cyprus is the only country in the world that doesn't have what is effectively a deeper hollowed out plate....

It's difficult to find decent "normal" sized bowls on the Turkish side. They seem to prefer soup bowls which aren't good for things like cereal.

Yeh, but cereal can be served in the plastic pack it comes with.... It does not require specific bowls...

My head this morning....

I hate buying winter tyres and having them fitted and balanced, only for the daily temperatures to go to 13*C for the forseeable!!

WHY??

I don't like getting moaned at, at work by the boss. :( .

I don't like kids waking up at silly hours and being reminded soon enough, its all going to happen again

I don't like the idea of heading back to the UK on Wednesday...it's sunny and 26c here in Cyprus! :(
