Things I Don't Like

Featured Replies

It doesn't help I've been hacking my lungs up all day. It says a lot when you go for a !Removed! to get some fresh air.

Oops, seems the British word for "cigarette" sets of the swear filter...

It didn't seem to mind it the second time

Misread that!

Maybe the Americans on here were offended by such profanity.

Faggots - very tasty in the winter months . . . . :)

Haven't looked on here for a while but David Mitchell is an apparent Comedian who is on, would I lie to you(ruins the show). I think he is in peep show as well. I absolutely hate the bloke. Also I don't like being full of cold

Ah, I haven't watched that, hence my lack of David Mitchell knowledge

Oooh, I do love a !Removed! with thick onion gravy :)

Ha, how ironic - it allows that word.

Indeed. Ironically I rarely use that term, and the one time I do it gets removed.

Faggots in thick onion gravy, it would seem are allowed

A single !Removed! in thick onion gravy, is not

We must consume our faggots in groups :)

Never been a fan of it myself. In fact, I've never touched liver.

Maybe I should start smoking "faggots"!

I like gravy but a !Removed! (whichever meaning) covered in it doesn't sound very appealing.

Mr Brains... EUGHHHHHH  I used to get force fed those by mum and dad.

Offal seems to be one of things you either love: or loathe

The dog loves a bit of dried liver, which looks like brown glass

Our dog will eat anything you give him except fruit, doesn't like fruit, oh and onions. He's a big fan of nicking Ashley's bib off his high chair as well

Onions are supposedly bad for dogs.

Raisins

Grapes

Onions

Chocolate

Apple seeds

And probably a whole myriad of other things are bad for pooches...

Onions are toxic to dogs, your dog probably senses the toxic onion. As are all vine fruit

Brandy (the dog) likes some fruit, bananas, apples, pears and satsumas (if peeled for her), she even picks the ripe blueberries off the bushes!

Apple seeds in quantity are toxic to us too, bur you'll need to a cupful, to make an untimely entrance to the mortuary

I don't understand all this hate for David Mitchell, I really liked Peep Show especially the earlier seasons, but haven't watched it for a while. Not really watched any other of the panel shows that he's on but seen parts of them and found him quite funny. But then comedy is a very subjective thing.

Theobromine and Theophylline in chocolate are very toxic to dogs, doggy chocs are made with Carob seed pods which are also often used in diet chocolate.

Brandy has never shown an interest, in either deadly human chocolate nor dog safe carob chocolate.

Grapes on the other hand, when I've dropped one. Have to be wrestled from her mouth, if I haven't grabbed it before she does.

From what I gather with a lot of 'toxic dog things', it's more a case of better safe than sorry...

Pretzel has gobbled dropped raisins (nieces and nephews), snaffled half a choc digestive, no doubt demolished something with onion in it, etc, so far showing no adverse signs, however to make it easy for her or ever a habit of giving her anything like that is definitely a no in our minds. I suppose like humans, some stuff affects us worse than others. It's just easier to say no, than deal with the fallout where best case scenario if something happens you end up with an almighty vets bill!

I don't chose to give the dog onions lol, the kids seem to like dropping mummys shepherds pie on the floor and there's Casper the hoover/mop to clean it up. He absolutely loves any form of biscuit although not struck on ginger nuts though ha. We don't get doggy chocolate as I end up eating it(in all seriousness). As for the David Mitchell thing, I like Mr Webb he is funny but David Mitchell I despise and now he has a word I'm not allowed to say beard. Just the thought of the bloke makes me want to punch something

Brandy is a great hooverer :)

I don't like having to wait for anything, I'm the most impatient person many people know lol

I wish this Christmas lark would get over and done with :p

I don't like the fact that B.A. want 12k for 2 return 1st class tickets LHR - JNB next April . . . . we may have to slum it in Biz class :(

I did LHR to Cape Town in economy...not a pleasant experience!
