Things I Don't Like

Casper our doggy has Advocate it's brilliant, poor big dog and dinky at the home farm though get I think cheapo Bob Martin from Wilko's. Poor old big dog itches like mad, Advocate is to expensive for a knackered, overweight,, senile, old Scottish Labrador apparently. Jamie I loved that last email, Big capitals my account has not been compromised lol

I use Stronghold.

Used to use Frontline but the little bleeders have built up resistance to it and is basically useless now (although most Vets won't tell you that).

Tried them on Bravecto chewable tablets and all three hated them.

I use to use front line on the dog and cat for years until one summer about 4-5years ago it stopped working as these little devils became immune...

I don't like sticking my hand straight into a massive (old) spiders Web in the kindling store / box in the garden

I hate spiders!

I have to admit I'm not keen on them but since living right next to a natural flowing river in Cheltenham. I since have a good respect for spiders doing their job - bugs I don't like.

Saying all that though we've got false widows nesting around here and they get splatted / vacuumed on sight and webs give me the creepy crawlies lol

I have a respect for them, in the sense that if they stay out of my site, stuff and living areas, then I can tolerate them, but if they enter my domain, or a box of my stuff, then I'll unleash terror upon them!*

* in the form of a girly sort of squirm and panic as I try to shoo them out the nearest door/window! It's only the fact the wife hates them more that I don't shut down completely!

It's weird cos push comes to shove and I'll kill it without hesitation, I just don't like to really..

It's always quite irksome to walk into a previously unseen web, that trails across the garden. Only to find you are now wearing it as a facial adornment.

My next door neighbour is traumatised by spiders to the point of hysteria.

I periodically get a text from her, when her husband isn't around to carry out spider removal, "can I come and remove a spider from the kitchen/loo/hall etc" Her kids have inherited her arachnophobia too. A sudden and prolonged scream from next door: precedes every spider removal request.

There's a semi-pet house spider who lives in my hall and keeps the fly population down. So far, she herself, has eluded the cats attempts, to chase and eat her. She had a big ball of baby spiders in the bathroom, by the shaver socket, in the spring. It was quite fascinating to watch them grow up and become adult spiders :)

Urgh at both of these topics!

Hall spider and her mob would get hoovered I'm afraid!

I wouldn't say I'm hysterical, I can remain control, an example was when I was 4 or 5 storeys up and leaning out of the scaffolding by one hand trying to reach a down pipe, I looked back and saw a huuuuuge spider right by my hand, everything said let go and don't let go at the same time... Fortunately I didn't let go, or I wouldn't be here today! Yuck!

Has Pret has been trained, and suitably rewarded to catch your would-be resident spiders?

The broken down car on the A331 occupying half of one lane, and causing drivers to dramatically swerve at the last second in order to avoid a collision.

I dialled 101 while driving, and notified the police immediately. Hope it doesn't cause an accident!

I don't like grammar !Removed!'s. I also don't like the imbasciles in my area that can't admit they haven't got a jeffing clue how to drive. GAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I'm currently having a heated debate on my local town's Facebook page about how people can't drive.

Talking of idiot drivers, I forgot to mention our "incident" last night driving home from work.

It was dark and coming up to the left turning at a low speed, indicating left, we proceeded to make the turn. Just as the Nissan was half way onto the next road (in the middle of turning), some idiot in one of those Volkswagen people carriers speeds out to go straight onto the road we are entering (he was stopped at the junction and COULD SEE US TURNING), and upon realising he cannot cut in front of us, slams on the brake and proceeds to repeatedly sound his horn.

About 100 yards down the road there is a round about through which we go straight to get to our house, and he takes the first exit (left), but sounds his horn again before leaving our tail still seemingly believing he was in the right.

Hopefully this picture explains what I've just written.

It's times like this I wish I had a dash camera!!

Not blooming likely, she's still not figured out flies, she tries to catch them but with no result, although there was that one time she caught one and panicked as it buzzed in her mouth and let it out her mouth again...

Looks like it's had one too many!

I don't like re-acquiring the corn on my small toe, on my right foot. I'd only just got rid of it's predecessor :(

I also, don't like forgetting to dart backwards fast enough, after showering Brandy, and failing avoid getting sprayed, as she went into rapid shake mode. She's quite dry now: I'm quite moist :P

Brandy has developed quite a snap reflex with flies, particularly during the summer, when they attempt to land on her tea.

The older cat, however, is the fly and moth dispatcher here, not forgetting cockchafers (aka maybugs, depending on where you live), which she plays with for hours on end!

I think it's just the weird fish-eye effect that street view uses. I just used it to look at the lamp post outside my flat and it also looks like it's about to fall over lol.

I think you're right there, my fence and gate are all skewed in street view, not to mention the leering leaning telephone pole, outside my neighbour's :P

I hate losing my memory. Three times now I have clicked on this thread to post something and every time I get to the reply box I forget what it is...

There's a vitamin for that Jamie, what it is? I can't remember but I know there is one. So this comment is about as much use as rubber lips on a woodpecker

Once again. I have failed to collect my "click and collect" order from Machine Mart :(

I was going go this afternoon but distracted with cleansing a muddy dog, and then it too close to closing time.

Isn't that the fatty acid Omega 3, mainly found in oily fish and plankton
