Things I Don't Like

Featured Replies

It will be online only yeah, but then I've got to go through extra effort of turning the PC on, letting it warm up, listening to it's fan noise over the program and waiting for buffering every few minutes. Hopefully they'll put the best stuff on BBC2 instead, they charge enough for the licence!

Go for a Chromecast or Amazon Fire TV box/stick.

You can access the likes of iPlayer without a subscription.

I have a Fire Stick and it's pretty good!!

....and that is a very good solution to the loss of BBC3

The weather for today

Not so bad here, not looking forward to going out first thing on Saturday though... -2*C plus wind chill if it is still this windy will make it pretty frosty.

Now frost down here for Saturday, 12°C (8°C with wind chill), 67% chance of rain, so that might be yet another weekend walk in the wet

I don't like the way the 1Kg bags of frozen chicken necks are frozen raw in a clump: rather than individually and then bagged, like peas

One kilo is too much, for the dog in one go!

I end up having to lever them apart while frozen, with pry bars and tyre levers; whilst trying not to scratch the table, nor damage the necks.

Eurgh! Think I'd stick to dry food.

Pork swords, stinky sticks, dried sprats and dry roasted ears/snouts/trotters, sort of dry food? :P

It's just decided to rain, as I and the dog are about to depart for the evening stroll

Better wrap up warm (and water tight!).

I couldn't own a dog, I'm just too lazy.

The dog let the side down, at the MOT testing station and performed a No.2 on the brake tester rollers

It's unbelievably awkward to bag a poo, that's fallen in between the rollers! :(

Get a small butchers block and a half decent cleaver or a chop knife.

I used to portion up frozen chicken with ease when I was a butcher many moons ago, some necks would be a breeze.

Now, that's an excellent idea, thanks Clive :)

I have no idea what a pork sword is but I hope it's not what it sounds like...

But no, them little biscuits in a nice clean box kinda dry food! I don't like touching meat at all haha.

My pet dog gets Bakers complete and the work pair get an approved formula which has to be weighed and logged, any treats have to be recorded too and a weekly weigh-in to ensure they are not over/underfed.

If the weather is cold their mix can be combined with hot water/stock to keep them healthy.

Hahaha. What was the garages reaction to that? Lol

A pork sword is a 1200mm rolled piece of rawhide. A pork pizzle is the treat that the pork sword sounds like...

Brandy came from the Dogs Trust eating Bakers complete, but that was nearly 14 years ago now.

Laughter mainly

I'm such an idiot...

I've been sat with my leg curled under me, and now it's gone dead...pins & needles next :(

I never learn!!

I didn't like my PC's Graphics Card failing,

Especially after spending half the weekend installing a clean copy of Windows 10,

putting all my stuff back on (and my Surface Pro), cleaning out the case and cleaning my desk,

just for it to crash an hour after I got my PC back on the floor

I can do without spending silly money on a new Gfx card 2 weeks before Xmas,

and especially since my current long term job situation is uncertain.

Still, I've opted to replace my GTX 560 Ti with a GTX 970 instead of it's equivalent GTX 960.

I had plans for a complete new build a few months back, but job loses at work pee'd on that idea.

I'll start with the GTX 970 I actually wanted, then build from that if I can afford to later.

I didn't like my PC's Graphics Card failing

I know the feeling, had several PC failures in my early days of PC building / modding mostly caused by my own stupidity. E.g. trying to flash the bios from within Windows which killed the motherboard of the first PC I built, about a week after I built it. Planning on giving my PC a good clean out while I have some time off around Christmas because it's probably more dust than computer inside. I've heard that a leaf blower is a good tool for the job, just hope I don't kill any components while I'm at it.

I don't like being absolutely drained both mentally and physically and yet still having another day of work tomorrow.

Yep, been there, components seem to wait until about a hour or so, after a you've done clean OS install: to fail. PSU's and RAM like to fail on my PCs, haven't a graphics card fail for a while.

That reminds me to give all of mine a bit of a blow through - all nine of them!

Whilst I know, it's not a good idea to have them on the floor: there's not enough space on the desk/shelves - they do get far too dusty on the floor :(

Quite surprisingly for me, I feel like that today

Haven't looked on here for a while but David Mitchell is an apparent Comedian who is on, would I lie to you(ruins the show). I think he is in peep show as well. I absolutely hate the bloke. Also I don't like being full of cold

It doesn't help I've been hacking my lungs up all day. It says a lot when you go for a !Removed! to get some fresh air.

Oops, seems the British word for "cigarette" sets of the swear filter...
