I have re done the auto-locking and still not working...

Chris, did you use the "write button" or the "write to backup" when sending to ECU..

If the BSM (as- built) is the only option to click open, then yes, it will need to be de-coded. See if there's a BSM (main) or BSMii

In that case you will have to find the correct value to enter to programme the car. This will make it a little more difficult but once you know what to Change the number to its fairly straight foward

Thanks, but that sounds out off my comfort zone. Its the missus car, she'll have to get used to using the button..

Just out of curiosity, what’s the new infotainment screen and system like? Does it work well with Car Play does anyone know or is it not that good? Can’t wait to be rid of the old system in place at the moment!

Yes there is only the as built.I suppose i have to wait. I was able to change the start animation with a change in APIM but i knew exactly what to change. I can't find anything regarding autolock.

My main gripe with the MK8 is that I don't like it. Those daylight running lights look awful and the rear looks like a Kia.
My neighbour just bought one and that has only reinforced my opinion of it.
You can't please everybody, I suppose.

I carn't say I like the new shape either, the ST-line looks much better from the front.
