Pebbleheed
I just drove my focus to the shop. All was fine. I got back in, pressed start and nothing happens. I have 5 DTC codes. DTC140_00 DTC121_00 DTC159_00 DTC131_00 DTC151_00 Its a 2015 1.0 eco boost with a bluefin I’m currently stuck roadside. Anyone able to advise? Pebbleheed
The codes are displayed as above. I don’t have any other letters. I’ve just restored the original map and removed bluefin. Still the same.

martyntdci
If u have a code reader you could try and clear them. If not and you have a spanner disconnect the battery and touch both lugs together for 5 seconds to drain all power in car. Then replace lugs. Live first. Hopefully this may give u time get home

Pebbleheed
So the bluefin appears to have knackered my car? I can get it reflashed at my local ford dealer but it will take a few days minimum I suspect. I thought bluefin was meant to be reliable and safe etc? Jonro2009
Do you have roadside assistance? They may be able to clear the codes and see if that helps. In the meantime I would remove all evidence of the remapSent from my iPad using Tapatalk
martyntdci
They do have a good rep, few members have them on here
Pebbleheed
Yeah recovery is on route. They’re not the best. Normally a basic toolkit and a tow truck. That’s it. I suspect they won’t be able to clear it. I’ve removed the bluefin already. It’s back to normal now.

I'd be very surprised if the Bluefin remap has done any harm, they've been around years and have been providing remaps for virtually all Ford engines for donkeys years.

It seems odd this would just happen though and that link provided above suggests it may be linked to a reflash and that applying the reflash after the sync caused the problem again. Do you know what else could cause this problem?

Yeah but toutch the wire lugs together for 5 secs or so to give the car enough time to drain all power everywhere. Yes then re connect

Jonro2009
And has the remap been on a while? They are a very reliable company, very little negative feedback. If the remap is to blame then get in touch with them and they will be able to rectify it, maybe send a new map or somethingSent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Since the summer anyway. I’m not sure how I’d know what’s caused it. I was just going off the quoted post above.
martyntdci
What about if there was a issue before the map, and this has made it come alive (so to speak)
