Things I do like

I do like that the overall hot humidity and stickiness of the day has been lifted by a southerly breeze:smile:

That it's the last day of term..looking forward to a 9 week break!

Have school holidays had inflation applied over the years?  It used to be 6 week break:laugh:

I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

  • I do like finally finishing a model kit I first started 5 and a half years ago.  It's a very special model that i was supposed to finish by the time the aircraft took her final flights across the UK

I do like the thought of passing my test in less than a month, finding another job that doesn't make me feel worthless, depressed and anxious on a daily basis, then playing this song at full-volume as I leave the work car-park for the last time...

Knowing my luck though, I'll fail my test, lose my job and become destitute

Some people see their glass as half full (optimist), some see it as half empty (pessimist).

I don't care how full or empty the glass is as long as it's whisky and I'm drinking it or have drunk it already and there's still some in the bottle (realist). :yahoo:

Hear hear!!

I do like being finished for the day and work-free for another 39 hours.

I like how I finished my reverse camera install after 3hrs today:

57817787c96a2_ImageUploadedByFordOC14681

And how OEM it looks:

5781779b143b0_ImageUploadedByFordOC14681

Sent from the pub with a pint in the other hand.

I do like that we had some overnight rain, far heavier than forecast, which had lowered the overall humidity and stickiness.  Which ultimately meant Brandy's extended morning weekend walk was far more pleasant: than yesterday's

I also like being able to attend to several  items on both Foci, little niggles rather than scheduled service items:smile:

I do like driving the 110 mile round trip to Southampton! Great to get some more experience.

I actually got it off amazon as the one I originally ordered off eBay never came :/

Here:

CAR ROVER® Car Rear View Backup CCD Camera for Ford Focus 3, Kuga, Mondeo Focus, Mk3 2011 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0154O1YVK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_FNOGxbHVGCHBM

Sent from the pub with a pint in the other hand.

Whilst not as good as Arwen's bird photography, nor Peter's robin, I did manage capture one of my blackbird babies standing on the rim of the pittosporrum nest.

Thanks Kiefer:smile:

I have one on my ebay watch page, but ever since I started watching it, they've been out of stock!  For close to 6 months now!

Obviously, I need one that fits a MK2/Mk2.5 Focus estate, not sure if the dimensions are the same as as the Mk3

I do like a nice drive to Inverness to pick up another vacuum cleaner...  I won't bore you all with the details, but it is a good addition to my collection being a Kirby Heritage.

Dimensions are different on the mk2.5 I've fitted this one 👇

Yea dimensions are definitely different. I'm not sure which screen you're using but just be sure to know which video format you want PAL/NTSC. I was advised to use NTSC for my centre screen.

I do like going to a local ST & RS meet today - as no-one on here wanted to do an EA Ford meet!

Zenec 3810, i'll have to get the manual out, i'm not sure whether the video input is NTSC or PAL

Ghana,

How dare you mention Arwen's incredible birds & my half invisible robin in the same sentenceohmy.png

There is no comparison!

But you are improving rapidly, I can just about see the little bird chick in the bush!

We must keep trying, but it may be some time before we get near the Arwen standard!.

If anyone finds a paid job that does not involve quite a lot of feeling worthless, depressed or anxious on a fairly regular basis, please let me, and everyone else know! They seem to be few & far between these days!. That is one reason why I am here, and not working!smile.png

I do like my new bin liners don't have holes in them.

Whilst the holes enable the liner to fit exactly without billowing about as you place them in the bin.

When you have soggy kitchen roll at the bottom of the bin, such the cup of tea Brandy knocked over with over enthusiastic wagging, the liquid (old tea) exudes through the holes and makes the bin as messy as if you've never bothered to line it:ohmy:

Ooh I could rephrase it to......

Whilst not as outstanding as Arwen's professional bird photography

Nor does it have amateur qualities of Peter's half-hidden robin,

I did manage capture one of my blackbird babies standing on the rim of the pittosporrum nest but it's largely hidden by leaves and twigs

Nice one, wait till it starts to destroy your house and garden. Lol. Looks all innocent at the moment.

But I must say he or she is a clever dog reading the local journal

Think he or she is planing on carpet and not wood flooring

I do like receiving this (much earlier than expected)

snow foam lance.jpg

and then this turned up a day early too:smile:

The cats like the huge box it came in, but were disappointed  that there was no polystyrene packing to shred into snow all over the house.
