I'm sure she knows how to correctly suit up and handle them 👍. I'm currently going to 2 hospitals a week where one of them had 2 CoronaVirus patients 😶. Both now have signs up in them about washing hands to prevent the infection spreading

I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

  • I do like finally finishing a model kit I first started 5 and a half years ago.  It's a very special model that i was supposed to finish by the time the aircraft took her final flights across the UK

Something I like and don't like today. The sainsburys delivery came today just when I was leaving home. Got an email from mum saying the young driver was looking at my car and really liked it and he might come in the weekend to look at it.

Might start looking at the pug soon and see if I can sell the fez. I did also realise that the ULEZ expansion area doesn't affect me but I am close to the border and that I think I still go to areas which makes me cross over to the charge area

Also stocked up on some paper

This stockpiling is starting to get ridiculous now!

I was amazed by the Carex stockpiling in Tesco yesterday...people were literally taking it off the shelf faster than the poor replenisher could put it out!!

I buy the own brand but even that was nearly gone...  So I must admit I bought onr more than I needed which probably makes me just as bad as them lol.

No normal sized loo roll packs left, only the massive packs or that horrible cheap rubbish lol.  I don't understand the loo roll stockpiling though...it's a respiratory virus, it doesn't give you the squits!

I know this is a things I do like post. But the whole stockpiling loo roll is annoying me slightly. I've got chrons and I've been to pick up loo roll three times this week at two different supermarket and none left. I'm sort of in need of the dam stuff [emoji23]. Reckon I need to invest in a bidet at this point. A couple.of mates sorted me a few rolls like a fricken drug deal the other day.

Should see if any supermarkets have them in stock for home delivery like what my mum did.

Just curious but how does it work for when I'm changing cars over on a policy? If this guy is really interested in getting my car I might start looking probably next month for a Peugeot 107 and sell the fez for a good price.

You just need to phone the insurance co and do a change of car. They will tell you whether its more expensive or cheaper and obviously who ever is up pays the difference, less the admin charge (£30ish).

Argue the admin the charge. I always get it for free in the end. Takes another 5 minutes on the phone. I would understand if there was a lot of paperwork but theres not. Also tell them fine you'll go elsewhere of they still won't drop it and ask how much the cancellation fee is. They'll soon drop that charge for you.

I'd think the pug will be cheaper to insure. It was only about a £50 difference between it and the fiesta 😂

I'm just not liking getting into the realisation of how competitive this world is getting a job.

You can use the online system for an immediate price without having to speak to anyone.

Everything in the world is a competition unfortunately, has been for millions of years, even plants fight each other for light & water!

Remember that training I applied for? Got through to shortlisting however sadly got put in the reserve list so not guaranteed an interview unless a certain number of applicants on the interview list withdraw. Does still make me a little happy as my first application to this as they stated being put in reserved means I met their criteria to get in the program just that I didn't score high enough in the application. There's 4 short answer questions in the application so currently trying to improve those even more trying to show I demonstrate all the person specifications and giving examples. I'm currently doing 2 placements in 2 hospitals along with my masters course I'm going in 5 days a week so hopefully it shows I'm committed to it. About 350 people apply to this and 93 were put in the interview list with 31 in reserve and the remainder unsuccessful so I did do pretty well just not guaranteed an interview.

@bashbarnard I'm not a soggy lettuce am I 😂

Yeah, I remember, well done!

Sounds like you couldn't have done much more tbh, that sort of commitment will pay off eventually even if you don't get an interview this time.

As for being a wet lettuce, that's an insult I haven't heard since I was at school!!  It wasn't from other kids either...

Thing is looking back at it before I applied I just was arranging getting my recent placement set up so didn't know exactly what I was doing to mention what I'm doing now in the application. I'm sitting with the consultant who does the cardiac MRI procedure and sit with another consultant to interpret their images. I also didn't cover all the person specifications which I have thankfully demonstrated but may have lost points for.

There's 4 questions which are really important in the application. One is why I applied and my commitments to the program, other is commitment to science and technology, other is demonstrating nhs values and behaviours then last about leadership skills.

Now after tweaking my answers I feel I covered all the person specifications, mentioned my two placements and talking about the stuff I do in terms of technology and equipment. They sadly don't have access to the employment section so have to clearly mention it on one of the questions. Gave more examples where possible as it shows I demonstrated stuff. Next year if I apply again I'd be in my longest placement for 5 years and the recent one for a year.

Huge big deal for me to get these today border line euphoric

As I live in Ireland

You don't come across an ST focus too often mainly due to the annual road tax on a 2.5 petrol engine being €1876.00 per year and especially not one that's breaking for parts; then extremely lucky to be the person purchasing the interior 😂 especially for €250 that's a steal, there from a five door model which is exactly what I needed but I prented I required three door seats to get the price down low 👍

Saved me a fortune not having to import from the uk as the shipping would be over €100 just to receive them.

They do look nice on the outside. Haven’t heard good things about underneath though - just a BMW Z4 I think? Always wanted a 90s twin turbo supra....

Yeah literally a Z4 underneath, a MK4 would do me nicely too!

Add it to the list!

R34 skyline, MR2 turbo, prelude, E46 330ci, Saab 900 turbo, Sierra cossie...

The list grows daily

After today's incident in the hospital and coming close to covid patients, went to the fish shop and saw a nice ST500. Parked next to it and met the owner of the car. Actually gave my number to him if he wants me to do his headlights 😁Screenshot_20200314-194114.thumb.png.1fd2f761cf57dfb975f8d4c57a7075f7.png

Some pictures in the shop. Feels like a very long Time since I drove the car for a bit.
