Steering issue (MK7 ST)

Bit of a strange one came back to use my ST after not using it for 2 weeks braking felt really bad and steering was hard after code reading it showed a couple faults to do with the abs which were cleared and didn’t return braking seemed to be better and steering not as bad until you need to turn full lock.

In short: My steering feels very heavy have checked the common calliper slider issue all fine no codes present, any ideas?

Thanks

Possibly just the battery charge has gotten low, when it gets low the powersteering is usually the first to play up. On new focus the power steering can stop working all together whilst you're driving it

It's a possibility, it would be better to charge the battery yourself first just to see if it makes it better rather than spending money on a battery 👍

Thing is, it was starting over fine each time but having said that there’s no proof that battery has ever been changed its on a 63 plate
