NobbyC1380 Posted December 29, 2021 Share Posted December 29, 2021 I recently bought a low mileage 2004 Fiesta 1.4 Duratec with the original 4500 RDS EON stereo. The FM reception where I live is shocking and so I’m thinking of upgrading to a more modern 2 din DAB head unit. The issue I have is with the DAB aerial. Ideally, I’d like to fit a roof mounted aerial in place of the original, but the most popular (and cheaper) solution uses a screen mounted aerial. This apparently, can be an issue with the fast clear screen? I haven’t checked yet, but the screen may not be original and I’m not sure whether it was replaced with a heated item, although the electrical connections are in place beneath the a pillar trim.
