Just got news from my dealer, my ST should be produced 7th of october and delivered end of the month, let's cross fingers !

Just been told my order has left the factory. Not been given a delivery date yet but hopefully October i guess

Agathe black - fully loaded (with trailer hook) except driver pack and pano roof.

My friend (mentioned previously) who ordered 155 MHEV Titanium with driver assistance options (parking pack, driver assistance pack, BLIS) in early Nov 2021 has today been told by his dealership his car has been built and gate released this week and he should have it early October!

 

Seems things are finally starting to move at a decent pace on the Focus front now. Looking forward to seeing pics of all the new cars.

Update from my dealer today that my order is scheduled for a November delivery. Not a November build but delivery so fingers crossed

Just looked on Ford Etis, my VIN number now has a record! Going to speak with the dealer tomorrow but I'm guessing it's been built......

Had an update from my dealer. My car is built! It's got a VIN.

His message said "So yours is paint off line eta to dealer end of October*

We are also waiting for a Fiesta Titanium Vignale for my son and we were told this will be ready similar time. Fingers crossed x

Can't believe it takes around 8 weeks from factory to dealer..  At least the end is in sight for you..

Cologne factory transport their cars by boat on the Rhine, then it's over to a holding compound in Holland, I believe. They are then distributed to the dealers. Not 100% sure of the logistics, but that might explain the wait

After 2 weeks waiting for transport at the border my Titanium X arrived. A real beauty and so nice to drive, worth the waiting. Here are some pics guys.

Dealer has confirmed my car was built 2nd September and left the factory already. 

Anticipating a delivery mid October

Dealership just informed me that the plant is currently prioritising the build of UK cars to clear the backlog... Who knows if this is true or not, but good news for UK customers. 

He also said they are looking to double production, so look forward to wheels rolling off as they rush production through 🤣

It is true, my dealer (in Greece) told me that they had noticed this behavior and when they asked Ford they did confirm it. 

Guess that has something to do with EU CO2 emission production law

Wonder if this is double production for UK cars or all over, if its all over can they really double output considering they keep saying they are short of chips and screens. Also does that mean the factory is sat idle 50% of the time up to now..  Surely it must just be double UK production..

From re-reading his email, seems as if this is UK specific, so a doubling of UK production. 

Would RHD have a different dash produced compared to LHD?

I am not entirely sure so someone else could chime in and correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that for a hatchback Focus the first digits are WF0NXX. The estate model's VIN starts with WF0PXX. (It's a zero after the F, not an omicron).

Hi all,

Build date for mine is now a day rather than a whole month, so the dealer said it was less likely to change again now.

Build date 29th Sept.

Will update the sheet tomorrow and redistribute.
