(Although the oil pump is still run by wetbelt - too soon to say how reliable that'll be.)

In our Focus 1.5 diesel, we used to have two 36kg Boxer dogs in the boot area and you could definitely feel the difference when they was onboard. If you are loading regularly with passengers you might even still be better ovv with the 2litre unit in the Focus.

Karbonfaiba
I have heard that the 3 pot 1.5 Ecoboost 150PS is particularly unusual being severely detuned. Torque curves of the 150PS show this artificial bottleneck well. The 182PS is the normative map for the engine and supposedly the 150PS map was only made as some half attempt at meeting some upcoming emissions target before being discontinued for the 1.0L instead. The 3 pot 1.5 Ecoboost is very capable of a 200PS remap as it's included with the Fiesta ST from factory.聽 I can't speak for the EcoBlue, but the manual Ecoboost 1.5 is an easy remap. However the automatic with Bosch ECU is supposedly bootlocked and will require specialist tooling.
alexp999
The 4 pot 1.5 is exactly the same. The 150 and 180 PS maps are the same up to about 4k RPM, then the 150 maps starts to be limited to keep it to 150, where the 180 is allowed a higher torque curve over 4k RPM for the higher power. The 3 pot 1.5 is still made for and sold in the Kuga and Fiesta ST. They've only discontinued the Focus version.
