jimrex
I work for a division of DHL called Inside Track Automotive - we run marketing campaigns, events, and fleets for Ford, Peugeot, Volvo and Honda as well as some larger dealer and leasing groups. Those of you who attend Ford Fair will see our demo vehicles and event staff supplied... and any company car drivers may have had a demo from us ;) Unfortunately I mainly deal with Peugeots but it does mean I get to hear about and see new stuff from the manufacturers we work with :D

Lenny
@Martyntdci, it is possible the only problem you will have is a bit more lag as the turbo is actually a tiny bit bigger Anything for the 1.6TDCi as a direct replacment?
Focus_IRE
Direct replacment for more power or just reduced lag?
alexp999
I'm officially a Technical Integration Engineer for an industrial computer company, but we are only a small team so the work is quite varied. I was taken on to build bespoke industrial, commercial and rackmount computers, and also provide technical support to customers, but I'll also do order processing, sales on certain products, while also managing our office network, workstations and server. Lenny
Direct replacment for more power or just reduced lag? More power please, I dont have much lag since the remap, and would probably require 110cc injectors and bigger intercooler too but would be interesting to see how much for an upgrade and if one is available. Sorry to be off topic guys.

Focus_IRE
Lenny possibilities for a turbo would be the Garrett GT1548 Which has a displacement of between 1.0ltr to 1.6ltr and horsepower between 100-200 or also the Garrett GT2052 which has a displacement of 1.4ltr to 2.0ltr and horsepower between 140-230. The current turvo in your 1.6TDCi is the Garrett 1544V. Hope this helps :)

Thats fairly cheap asfar as a full repipe and system upgrade is concerned. One thing I would recommend with combi boilers is dont be a skin flint when it comes to the boiler. You might save some money in the short term but you'll lose out on a furtune in parts in just a few years. Id recommend sticking to Potterton, Baxi, Glowworm, Worcester or Vailliant. Potterton are owned by baxi and are generally the exact same boilers as their baxi counterparts but tend to be alot cheaper but just as good. You pay for the name sometimes
Stoney871
Yep, new combi, 10 radiators and all pipework too for £1500 but the radiators are all top spec ones.
