Keyless Entry, Boot Not Working!

Hi all

First visit here be gentle with me! :)

I have a 2010 Fiesta Titanium with keyless entry. First of all the boot started opening whilst I was driving, thought my fob may have needed new batteries so got that sorted but the boot still opened a couple of times whilst driving, then it just stopped working at all. The button on the key fob opens it so it's not a desperate situation just inconvenient when you've bought a car with keyless entry. So the question is, what is likely to be the problem? Faulty sensor or something? and how much is it likely to cost to fix?
