Baz-c
My 04 1.8tdci won't start. On attempting to start seems like low battery power. I have tried to jump start from anothercar and pportable power plant also charged the battery and changed the alternator, but still the same. Help me please guys

jeebowhite
sounds like the battery is shot, if it went flat and is old the cells will warp and wont retain the charge. Jump start doesnt work on these cars as the Smart Charge system is very protective and can blow, but you need to be able to have something useable in the battery.
