my bad, I should have really looked back, just got a bit taken in the moment.

Its the choice of words "a connected disconnect" its a conudrum in its own right outside of the actual part we are talking about! :p

yeah I did :p

Its got the brains working and seems to be a fun game. Just definately proves I dont like losing at my own game though :D haha

I will if I find the answer to any of these do a victory dance :p

Nope, roundup of all clues given so far:

I'm a connected disconnect in a system between parts.

I'm not needed on every car although am on most and for those with me I'm part of the MOT.

I carry something, but it is not a load.

If I fail things are going to get noisy.

It's not that hard. :)

I think we need clarity, when you say connected disconnect what do you mean, something that is not connected by default and you have to do something to connect it

It is always connected, but the very nature of the part is to provide a form of disconnect.

You can't always replace this part on its own. Sometimes it comes as part of a bigger assembly.
