My controls are a bit shot, the fan only goes to position number 3, any further then the fan shuts down completely, and every time you move the dial for direction of air the air con switches on! Just about to but some on eBay but the digital ones are cheaper, thought I'd check first, at least I know now. Thanks for a quick bit of advice!
