Never heard of it being referred to as a combi

For those of us old enough to remember the 1980's, Ford used to refer to car derived vans as Combi's here in the UK.

I hadn’t realised that and I’m a lot older than 1980’s. I remember the. Vauxhall Combo that was a Corsa car derived van.

So today I unplugged the battery for 10 min, I started the car 3 times in total, I was driving almost whole afternoon, and so far the error didn't show up. One more thing I noticed is that the gas pedal is more responsive, before there was about 15-20% deadzone, now it's responding as soon as I press it. Hopefully the error won't come up again.

I’m assuming your car is out of warranty, so Ford will not pay for this. The best you could hope for is contacting customer care and hoping they will contribute something towards the cost. The fault is well documented in numerous forum threads here and elsewhere so Ford should not be surprised at an approach by you.
