I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

  • I do like finally finishing a model kit I first started 5 and a half years ago.  It's a very special model that i was supposed to finish by the time the aircraft took her final flights across the UK

I like anaesthetic, though I don't like it when anaesthetic stops working...

I like that my daughter has finally got a delivery date for her new Fiesta ZS140 on Monday so picks up on Wednesday. Can't wait to have a drive and see how they get 140BHP out of a 1 litre engine.

I bought a Samsung Galaxy tab s2 9.7 to go with my galaxy tab s 10.5, and I take it back the similarities between the two are outweighed by the differences. Just got to find a cover I like for it now, 10.5 has a Samsung flip cover might go for similar, shop I bought it from didn't have much by way of choice, and nothing official by way of covers apart from for the 10.5

I ordered one off Amazon, has quite good reviews. I'll see what it's like when it arrives.

I wouldn't mind a tablet by my problem is, all the places I'd want it, are all the places I wouldn't be carrying it... So Id have either phone, or laptop at home...

That's a fair enough. I always have my rucksack at school and carrying a tablet is so much easier than a laptop. Plus going between my parents houses often means I need something that is light and portable that's bigger than my phone.

I always put my Galaxy Tab in an Otterbox case.

It's been dropped numerous times and still works fine.

my galaxy tablet has been dropped numerous times, luckily with a case protecting it, find it usefull at work or home,

I haven't dropped either of my tab s's - yet lol, but I have dropped my new phone a couple of times already. Faired really well in its thin little official case, sits every night I work in the same pocket as my car keys as well.

I bought from curry's

I never took my Tab S outside, which was one of the reasons I sold it. Mainly I just wasn't using it enough and didn't need something so portable. It was catch 22 really - to make it worthwhile I would have had to use it outdoors but because it was worth over £200 I was too scared to do so in case of damage.

I very much like picking up a new laptop which plays HD YouTube videos smoothly! My last one (an HP which has now been transferred to my mother) was great but could not play videos in high definition to save itself.

Speaking of cases it's amazing what even a cheap case can do. I bought one for my s4 mini, silicone case on the back of the phone and then a plastic outer shell with a rubber grip pad on the rear. My phone has suffered drops (and being thrown by irate toddlers) it's still in perfect condition. Cost me about 7 quid but has saved my phone being damaged and broken.

I can't stand cases, be them on phones or tablets. My Lumia 520 never had a case and is still in mint condition today (despite being dropped outside a couple of times) and only doesn't work due to water getting inside, which I think would have happened regardless of a case.

Makes a difference. The day I took my mysaga phone put its case it died when a drop of water reached it as the water got into the aux port and then reached the screen ribbon

I do like that we'll be in Port Isaac / Delabole in north Cornwall ( think Port Wenn / Doc Martin ) for 4 days from tomorrow :)

Hoping the Cornish weather will be as good as their ale & pasties & clotted cream :)

So ST or the Mondeo

The Mondeo is in need of a good blast on the motorway & it's about 220 miles each way - so that'll clear the cobwebs :)

Plus it's nearly twice as economical as the ST . . .

I do like arriving at the Poldark Inn in Delabole in 3 & a bit hours from home with free flowing motorways & the A30 almost empty all the way & the sun's shining :)

Nice drive!!! and the destination sounds very nice too..sun shining on an empty road into an evening of your choosing..well nice ..

I do like averaging 49.7 mpg brim to brim over the 495 miles I've just driven from south Wales to north Cornwall & back including jaunts to Port Isaac, Tintagel, Polzeath beach & Boscastle from Delabole

Not too shabby from a large heavy car that's not yet run in I don't think :)

I love vetting good mileage too, even with extra dead weight in the boot, I can still get mostly 600 miles out of all tanks some going to 750 to 800

Most people put kids in the rear seats....

Haha

Kids aside, I have a 2 ton trolley jack with me and some tools in case of incident, so I have those and full size spare, and just other random bits for wiring and electrical work I am doing on the car.
