Here's something you might like to try Laurie, toddy-wise

When I lived in Tuscany, the toddy they made for cold was a measure of mandarina (mandarin orange liqueur ), a measure of schnapps, and a measure of grappa (local grape spirit, use vodka in lieu) which they passed steam through from the expresso machine, for a few seconds - it works wonders on a cold :)

Sounds good :d might have to give that a try :d (after I've used up the Johnny walker of course ;) )

I was only looking for centre console initially, but it made sense to get the other bits, as they were off the same car, and I was planning to upgrade them all in future anyway. He had the mirrors, but they're not the puddle folding type - I thought all Mk2.5 Titaniums had those

I do like getting all the Dec's down from the loft, rather a few of them (1 big ikea bag and two big boxes), might have to give some of them away I think? My sons got first dibs on the soft bear and Santa's tree decs box as he was bought up with that lot

Definitely makes sense to get all the bits, I was buying mine in piece meal from different people as and when I could afford to. Stuck with the standard silver though, saved me getting the stereo fascia.

Debating about getting the seats, dogs and leather seats don't work too well.

That's was a significant reason for abandoning the BMW 740; every corner or hard braking, she'd find herself and her duvet, in the footwell or slammed against the door card :(

While we out and about, in Oakdale, I saw MK2.5 Focus, on a 08 plate in quite a distinctive colour, it's hard to describe it properly, it wasn't so much a plum : but wasn't a reddy brown either; a bit like the lovechild of polished mahogany and a Victoria plum I'm guessing the owner had it resprayed, I don't think that's a Ford colour; but I might be wrong

I do like that my Mk2.5 Focus centre console and accompanying bits have turned up earlier than expected. :) The breaker sent it TNT overnight express not his stated 3-day service.

There must be a breakers yard dog, or the former owner of the Focus it came from, had a dog. Brandy is sniffing it profusely and barking at it :D As if she thinks there's a strange fellow dog in the box :D
