I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

  • I do like finally finishing a model kit I first started 5 and a half years ago.  It's a very special model that i was supposed to finish by the time the aircraft took her final flights across the UK

No GMX, my other halfs dad owns a agricultural contracting business and has 7 Fendt tractors, first tractor I ever drove now I occasionally drive a John Deere. Get them Fendts fitted with Auto steering and you are basically obsolete in the field lol. Nothing compares to them + they are seriously easy to drive and seriously expensive to buy and fix IF they go wrong(which isn't often). That's how I caught the farming bug as well

I've got a mate with a 900, he says nothing compares to Fendt too. :)

I like a good tea after a hard day at work, and getting paid tomorrow... Even though it will have to last me an extra 2 weeks and therefore won't be getting spent frivolously.

Haddock and chips with mushy peas?

Might have haddock myself, although as part of fishy pasta bake, once I've sated my pusses with cod pieces and prawns

Oh, God no, hate hate hate peas, especially "mushy" ones. That was a tub of curry sauce for the chips.

ooooh......I'm the complete opposite, mushy peas are probably my favourite processed food :) .

Will happily eat them out the cat with a spoon :) If anything, it's shame they packed in such small tins: compared to the other canned veg :(

Oh he's the bees knees then lol. You saying about Mushy peas out of a tin, I'm the same with Nutella, I adore the stuff, Other half looks at me baffled when I get the knife out and start diving into the pot, I'm the same with honey and syrup as well

You eat your mushies out of your cat with a spoon. . . ? Ooooh errr :(

I thought that but didnt like to comment.:D:D:D

Eating them out of a cat with a spoon is certainly an interesting expression of liking something very muchly lol

oh, didn't notice that until now :o

I think the gathering miaowing hungry cats, distracted me to think "can" and but actually type "cat".

Had it been Brandy's tea that due, I probably would've declared a fondness for eating mushy peas out a dog :P

You do realise this is a Ford forum, and mentioning another brand of vehicle in the TIDL thread is strictly forbidden and punishable with a 6 month ban? :o

Says he who isn't even driving a Ford at the moment lol

Yes they're lovely aren't they. :D Nothing really comes close to ride and interior quality quality this side of a Rolls Royce.

I've made it clear I like other brands apart from Ford and I haven't been banned yet. :D

You're young, we'll give you a little leeway...for now ;)

What did you do it in the first place?

I do like taking the turning off the A38 before a police Road closure... If someone crashed somewhere it wasn't before my turning... Hope they're ok...

Rather amusingly, my shin collided with the wheelbarrow, in the dark, during a monsoon like rainfall, whilst sprinting to retrieve Brandy's patio cushion from getting more wet.

It was an impact wound that then ulcerated.

Unfortunately, it was exactly the same spot on my shin, were I had had previously a streptococcus infection back in the mid 1990's. Which required surgical intervention, when the anti-biotics were failing to work. They removed a far amount of tissue and some bone, leaving that part of my shin, a little vulnerable to future impacts and abrasions.

I was told that if I were to injure it, it most certainly ulcerate. Which the wheelbarrow collision surely did! As did inadvertently hitting with my mate's garage door in the mid noneties, when it opened in an unexpected way

Normally when doing something where it could get hit, I have a Kevlar shin pad.

Ouch!! Sounds like you should wear the shin pad all the time lol

Ouch!! Sounds like you should wear the shin pad all the time lol

The only trouble with wearing it all the time, it leads to an overly hot leg, particularly during the warmer months

I found the total sum of £1.27 in abandoned pavement change, outside the takeaways, during Brandy's morning walk. That's not even enough to buy her one dry roasted pigs nose. Scattered abandoned change totals are down this month. Suggesting locals are feeding elsewhere, prior to returning home.

The weather forecast at the weekend looks promising for outside activities :)

I do like we had an idiot free drive this afternoon, even the BMW we encountered on the "two lanes become one" in section of A31, just past Canford Bottom, indicated and slowly filtered in. :)

Which was surprising, as it seemed the world, his wife and in-laws, children, grandchildren and great grandmother twice removed were driving about this afternoon - yet there wasn't an idiot about today! :)

We have re-stocked Brandy's food and treat supplies with more chicken carcases and necks, recreational bones, pork swords, stinky sticks, pig noses and a couple of deer feet. The cats have had their cod pieces refreshed. We should have enough animal food to last to February now :)

Once again, I came home with a greater fuel left range than I went out with  Only 2 miles worth more, but I have driven about 40 miles today.

Says he who isn't even driving a Ford at the moment lol

That's irrelevant... I'm a revered member of the FOC (cough cough) so hypocrisy doesn't apply to me

I like biting the bullet and buying a FOC subscription. I don't care about the "SUPPORTER" label, but if the £25 goes towards the running of the forum then I am more than happy to pay it.

Looking forward to getting my t-shirt too, which I will wear proudly! Even if I am in a Nissan...

And finally, I like spending £70 in Tesco on some "medicine"... Should last me the month, even if I need extra "doses" from time to time.

P.S. Yes that is an old 1970s Hoover portable fan heater in the background, from my collection.

Do the fan heaters have a room of their own, or do they share with the vacuums?

They share, for now.

Once I win the lottery and become a millionaire they will have their own floor, let alone room.

Just glad I could contribute. I may be skint but if I can spend £10 on a pack of !Removed! (sorry, "faggots") I can pay £25 towards one of the best forums on the internet!
