I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

  • I do like finally finishing a model kit I first started 5 and a half years ago.  It's a very special model that i was supposed to finish by the time the aircraft took her final flights across the UK

The most ambitious idea I have for the car is to put more petrol in it next week

I went onto the fuel economy screen this morning and for some reason the MPG had dropped from around 41 to 35!! It crept back up again to 38 by the time I got home from work this evening but it is weird nonetheless. Especially as I just replaced the air filter which, if anything, should have increased the fuel economy.

That's Nissans for you. Give them a service and a full valet and how do they repay you? By dropping 6MPG!!

Did Sean get a reply to that post he put on there?

Well, it is strange, because I went onto their page to find that reply he wrote but I couldn't even see the post he replied to. Maybe it is only available to people who have "liked" the page, or "followed" it.

I'm just waiting for their next advertising campaign for the Zafira...

VAUXHALL ZAFIRA - HOT NEW MODEL FOR 2016. BOOK YOUR TEST DRIVE NOW...

FIRE EXTINGUISHERS OPTIONAL EXTRA £25 +VAT.

It was a bit of a wet one, but the dog and I have had pleasing evening stroll. :)

My cheesecake with a false bottom should be almost ready too :)

I had a greater range when I got back today: than when I set off - 218 miles left upon leaving the drive: 239 miles left upon pulling up in the drive afterwards

Been driving in reverse again, eh? ;)

Everyone who was going somewhere, had already gone, when I went out, even the A349 was quiet

I think the lack of gridlocks and overall jam free driving increased my mpg.

Most likely. How many MPG do you get on average from the diesel?

43-45 around town and 59-62 on the motorway/trunk roads

After all the rain and near daily wetness, I do like that today is nice, warm and dry :)

My 3 yo nephew has written me a Christmas card and put it in the envelope as well :D

Sister dearest just sent me a video of him doing it :D

I do love my cheeky little monkey of a nephew :D

I do like I've got nearly all the presents wrapped now - taken me most of the day and I've now run out of tags and have forgotten who's got what but done it is :d

I also like my sons girlfriends present arrived today from Canada, I had a horrible feeling that was going to miss Christmas deadline (ordered end of November)

Apart from two boxes of lambs hearts (for the dog in case, you wondered) in the freezer, I haven't even bought presents let alone wrap them!

My dog has sausages or chicken breast and rice (only things she'll eat choice mare)

I remember feeding barf to my other dog now passed away though. Hanging onto a raw wing as he tried to inhale the rest of it in one gulp, and defrosting tripe mince....tell you what can see why they called it barf after the latter lol
