Nice! 😎

We're heading back to Benalmadena in 6 weeks, hopefully the weather will still be nice when we get there 🤞

I'm assuming James Packer got a foot up thanks to his dad?

All his dad's money no doubt.

Likes his food and drink

I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

  • I do like finally finishing a model kit I first started 5 and a half years ago.  It's a very special model that i was supposed to finish by the time the aircraft took her final flights across the UK

To be fair, if I had his money I would probably like my food and drink as well! 😀

We’ll be paying those prices in the U.K. soon!

Like that I've been suspended from mot testing by the dvsa.

And no I haven't been caught doing any dodgy Mots.

I've been caught not doing any Mots for the last 6 months and 4 days. If after 6montjs of not testing you get suspended from doing them until you do your annual training, annual assessment, then Dvsa come out and watch a demonstration test.

Not going through that lot just to do the odd mot every few months.

I deffo liked that the brakes and seatbelt worked a dream this morning in the Noddy car as some numpty pulled out at point blank range from a side road and then had the cheek to ask if I'd gotta problem......some people eh ...........

Liz Truss has resigned.  Best news I've heard this week!

At least she hasn't been in power long enough to do any damage... :whistling1:

Are we opening any kind of book on her successor?? 😄 Suppose we'll know in a week anyway...

Iirc at least she's made history by being the shortest serving PM!

Indeed, and the future answer to the trivial pub question, "What 21st century PM served under 2 separate monarchs"...

Now, if only we had been given some kind of clue how simply awful a Prime Minister she would have made and a sample of her appalling communication skills... (2014 'cheese' speech)

Amazing that anyone actually wants the job. I wonder how this carry on will be taught in future political history lessons? Makes the "War of Jenkins Ear" seem quite logical!

It's been an utter complete shambles from start to finish.

Or omnishambles, even!

Oh, and this is the government that is mandating the ban of petrol/diesel car sales. Still feeling confident of EVs?? LOL

Lol thought you might mention that, somehow. Unfortunately, given that the most likely alternative government come the next election egged the current lot on to move it forward in the first place, a reversal of that policy would appear unlikely.

Though, as we keep seeing, unlikely things do happen!😀

The future, soon be seeing these everywhere( where there's a charging point)  🤣🤣🤣

Is there any rule about that? A "late" PM might do less damage.

Now, are we counting Boris as, 'late' or just been on an extended holiday?? 🤣

Keep hearing his name come up today, so who knows?😀 If he comes back, they owe him a really big cake, I reckon!
