There was random heat scanning at Barcelona last month. Some taxi drivers were insistent on us wearing mask and others weren't bothered.

There was non at both Manchester /Morocco airports nor on the coach from Marrakesh to hotel. All back to normal as it was prior to Covid.

I'm on the first electric saving session from octopus. Basically I get paid to reduce my elec consumption for an hour of there choosing. Today it's 5-6pm. And no I'm not sat in the dark. Got a candle lit 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I remember the power cuts too. Many a time it was beans on toast done on the coal fire or toasted crumpets while we waited hours for the elec to come back on. 

I've cheated a bit with the energy saving hour as the saving is based on the previous 10 days consumption at the same times. So I made sure I plugged in car , had the hot tub filter pumps timed to run them and made use of the tub in the 4-7pm window they said the hour would be in. All elec I would use anyway so wasn't running for the sake of it. Tub I would use a bit later normally and charging car  I would normally plug in before bed.

Just done the same minus the candle. Moved the led strip light (rechargeable) into the lounge 🤣

They calculate the average over previous 10 days then deduct what you used in the hour from that. So I average 2kwh so if I use 1kwh tonight that's 1 kWh saved that saving equates to £2.25 credited. Not alot but money for nothing. As we were using alot less than 1kwh. I should be getting around £4 that's 109 free miles in my car. 🤪🤪

My partner didn't realise what was going on as she was at work upstairs in her office.just managed to finish cooking the tea by the time she came downstairs at 6.30pm. phew!!!! 

Still, the kettle don't take long to boil for a pot noodle🤣🤣🤣🤣
