You must have a steady hand.  I'd probably decapitate myself with that!  

Got a Braun foil shaver now.  About 6 years old, battery showing no signs of age yet.  It's not as close as wet shaving, but there's considerably less toilet paper on my face afterwards.

I've been 'proper' shaving now for over 10 years, taught myself the technique by a YouTuber by the name of GeoFatBoy! It took me a few weeks of perseverance to stop cutting myself, but I can now pretty much use any double edge razor without event, even the infamous aggressive Muhle R41 2011 edition! (which on initial purchase, I was terrified of, and still gets my utmost respect & attention when used)

Looking forward to going  to the Ford Fair 14th August. Didn't think I would make it but last minute change of plans and bought the tickets last night 😀

That is brilliant! !3Mpg (American gallon) is to be admired! A big 2 fingers up to St Greta... Can you imagine going on a WalkAbout with an electric vehicle? You'd simply die when you ran out of volts.;.

I use a Merkur with DE Derby Extra blades.

I have that razor too. Also have about 100 Derby blades somewhere (well, about 95) as they were one of the 1st blades I ever tried but they just weren't for me. I have over 15 x DE razors, which is ridiculous as I started it to save money as I can't forgive Gillette for selling the crappy multi blades for £5 a piece LOL

It's a blade you'll never have heard of LOL It's a Chinese blade called Rhino, I bought 100s of them years ago, enough to see me out. Though like most DE shavers, I have boxes of other brands I sometimes dip in to just for a change!

Do like that the boss said we finish work earlier for the rest of the week. Novelty being home by 3pm. He " didn't want his delicate blooms wilting in the sun! " 

I was waiting for the " we can come in early to make up the time " but he didn't for a change. 

Pretty much this time last year my fixed tarrif was. elec  12.9p kWh and gas 2.02p kWh. The good old days , they were the best.😂😂

That's interesting. I'm also with Octopus and currently running up a very large positive credit with them. I wonder if they are consistently over-estimating?

I may elect not to reduce the payments though as that'll give me a little extra cushioning when the prices inevitably rise by another 1000% next year 🙂

There's only£15 I. It so I'm leaving well alone. May be they are basing it on the extra 66 a month over winter I get? 

I'm still on a fixed from last sept so my price rises of 1000% will happen next sept. That will coincide with my fixed mortgage expiry. Double whammy . Got 12 months to save to offset. Better go in early to work from now on earn a £10k buffer for then
