I LIKE BEING RIGHT, haha. Daughter was having issues with the keys to the Quashqai. Changed over the guts to new fobs with new batteries, then rang me as nothing worked and the keys just beeped and would'nt turn in the ignition. Told her there will be a transponder, she googled and came up with the eProm being mounted on the circuit board, so was adamant it should work.

Told her to take the old case with the new key out to the car put them back to back and try again, success. Went over split the old case and sure enough there was a tiny transponder in the front section. Came away quite pleased with myself.
