Bingo lol

Went over to Scunthorpe Sea Cadets for their annual Easter Bingo night lol

Didn't win anything, but it was a good laugh! And I returned the electrical tape I accidentally stole at the weekend...and picked up my boots that I forgot lol

I'm not even going to ask!! unsure.png

Used to mark port/starboard in the rowing boats we were using lol

Some kids struggle with it aa it is, but sit them facing the back of the boat and there's no hope lol

I stuck the tape in my pocket and forgot about it lol

I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

  • I do like finally finishing a model kit I first started 5 and a half years ago.  It's a very special model that i was supposed to finish by the time the aircraft took her final flights across the UK

These Fiesta footrests on eBay for £12!

They're brilliant!

Adds a touch of class, fits perfect.

Great customer service too! I've bought two. One for myself and my dad.

I do like a glass of red wine and a beef curry!  Perfect end to a terrible day.

I do like after wedding rehearsals all relevant men went for a drink & It turns out the sister in laws 'wet' boyfriend is actually alright.  All the women got wasted & indeed Cheryl was sick & I wasn't.  Pfffttt she's a lightweight

Don't rub it in!!

Nice little jaunt down to Lincoln (post gas leak lol) to pick up a boat for my old Sea Cadet Unit (Grimsby).

Imagine the confusion when I arrived..."But Sir, that's Grimsby's boat!" "Yeeeeaaaahhhhh..." "And you're from Immingham?" "Yep...robbin' it!" "Ohhh...okay!"

I do like the fuel economy after 530 miles of city/urban driving - not bad for a 20 year old IDI.  Don't necessarily like the fact diesel is back up to 104.9p per litre though...

Sub 50mpg, damn!

I prefer this site btw, can put the cost in as well to work out your pence per mile.  http://www.torquecars.com/tools/uk-mpg-calculator.php

I know, but close enough!  I was very impressed with the 55MPG it got last time with mainly motorway driving, so it's still in my good books.  Compared to our other vehicle which struggles to hit 30MPG, I'll take anything above 40!

I've only had one diesel consistently do sub 50mpg, that was a Vectra...with 150bhp lol.

It's only once dropped below 50mpg in the Focus, at 49.6...I was devastated lol.

Mad thing is, most powerful diesel I've ever owned, 180bhp 1.9 Golf, never dropped below 55mpg!  It's a shame they've had to give up on PD tech due to emissions as it's great for power and mpg!

By comparison the old Pug is pretty poor considering it averages just below 50 and only gets 92BHP!

It's a good thing I love the car, because there are much more efficient diesels out there if I wanted high MPG and power.  It's a classic car though, rather than a regular daily driver - so different rules apply.

I do like remembering there was a £20 note in my jeans pocket...  Just before switching on the washing machine with the jeans in this evening.

Hence why I always put cash in my wallet, as if I left it in pockets I'd forget!!

Haha!!  Very true, that.

ive done money laundering with all my credit cards in a wallet in my jeans, had a high temp wash, rinse and spin dry, then a 60 min tumble dry, still worked.

Haha, I usually do, but I'd done someone a favour and they'd unexpectedly produced it afterwards so I just quickly shoved it in next to the wallet.

I do like Bosch S4 batteries!  Fitted in 2009 and still going strong 7 years later, when most budget batteries would have been replaced twice.

I do like the Dewalt drill I brought off the father in law(brickie) and it is awesome at the moment.  I also like since I have married Cheryl, I love her even more, I didn't realise I loved her this much.  See how long it lasts, well we've been together 8 years so not really a lot she can surprise me with.  Lies actually, her slimming world cooking never ceases to surprise me
