The Wall and Dark Side Of The Moon late at night driving on a long duty always chills me out.

Comfortably numb is a good driving song for night time as well.  I prefer Pink Floyd for sitting on the sofa in darkness though.  Got moaned at for it the other night lol.  If you like driving at night and want some decent songs try listening to London Grammar.  Wasting my young years and Strong are brilliant night time tracks

I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

  • I do like finally finishing a model kit I first started 5 and a half years ago.  It's a very special model that i was supposed to finish by the time the aircraft took her final flights across the UK

I've found back to back Pink Floyd albums, through my headphones, when compiling lengthy and somewhat boring client reports, has much to be commended.

I inadvertently end up listening to loads of Pink Floyd songs on Youtube.  As I usually end up going on there for a specific song & then go off & do something and it ends up as background music

So you like sitting in the barbers bored out of your mind?? Lol not sure I Do, I like having my hair cut though, it's relaxing

Ahh well. The "things i do like" and "things i dont like" are next to each other in my notifications... thanks to you preecematt!!;)

You can see its an easy mistake to make ;)

I dont mind having my hair cut... when its been done. Its just the waiting. I'll see you over in the "things i dont like" section ;)

I do like having tomorrow off and enjoying a few glasses of wine to recover from 2 days at hell.  Tomorrow I think I'll have a relaxing morning, maybe sleeping in until 09:00 and then brewing a coffee and reading the newspaper.  Mmm!

@GMX

 I hope not, Aston Martin is the way to go!

Ones of his friends brought round his new one, I felt rather patriotic with 3 British cars on the drive!

I have just returned from Tescos on the weekly cat litter and milk run, and as it turned out, a few meaty bargains for Brandy, as she seems reluctant to eat her chickens at the moment.

As I was going out of the store. I thought I'd mention to the customer service person, that yesterday's watermelon was a great disappointment. As I'd eaten the entire tasteless melon I had nothing to bring back and show them: I was merely commenting rather than complaining to get my money or a melon back.  Apparently it didn't matter to Tescos. She offered me my money back, or I could have another melon.

I opted for a melon, providing it was from a different batch.  Unfortunately all the watermelons they have at the moment are the same batch. Whilst the tasteless one could've been a random rogue melon. I decided that a Piel de Sapo was a better choice.  The Piel de Sapos have a weekend only bogof on them.  So, she gave me two to replace the one watermelon:smile:

Haha, hope those are tastier!

Btw, watermelon is a great treat for dogs, they (most) love it, and in the summer its a great hydrating treat for them!

You and me both!!!  I wouldn't of had it off but i've had to work tonight(should of had tonight off) Although 9am is a bit early and not so sure about the wine

I'll have try that, or rather Brandy will have try that.

9AM is late for me (normally up at 6 latest) and as for wine - it is personal preference.  I know a lot of people who hate it, but I enjoy a glass or ten.  Admittedly I prefer red, and bought white tonight annoyingly (obviously wasn't paying attention!).

I'd just like to have a drive, let alone three cars on it

It's strange though, because even if I won the lottery or became very successful, I would never buy sports or super cars.  I'd be quite content with a few more 405s, a MK1 Focus and a 1980s Volvo estate.  But then again, I am very strange!

Hey, who says blind people can't be safe drivers!!  That's discrimination.

Also gotta see this from same guy 😀

Oh that reminds me, regarding those of us with stranger hobbies. Whilst searching for additions on ebay, for my plush fruit characters collection.

Like the seemingly elusive Lemon and Watermelon in Series 2, by Trudy Inc/Wallace Interantional.  I came across to plush characters that, when the time comes, and you have a Mrs and some kids, given your vacuum cleaner collecting.  Get your kids into the love of  vacuums early:tongue:.

I'll be sure to do that!  Unfortunately I doubt I'd be lucky enough to attract a woman (of my standards) full stop, let alone one willing to marry me and have children - but who knows!  If people are stupid enough to buy Vauxhalls, maybe a woman would be stupid enough to marry me

Maybe you need to lower your standards a bit!

Well, you could be right!  Problem is, being a 405 owner I settle for no less than perfection

Joking aside, there are a few females who meet said standards, but none of them are interested in my fine self.  In fact, none of the women full stop (even the Vauxhall owners) are interested in me...

The best offer I've had this year was a woman at work asking (on behalf of a man) if I were homosexual...

Aside from being slightly offended that I apparently come across as camp, I was also disappointed that the only offer I have had in my life was from a man, and even that didn't come directly.

I like this song...

And Jamie, Beggars can't be choosers ;)

Have you seen the women of Scotland?  I'd rather die of starvation...

The Civil Service Code of Conduct is getting in the way, of any wooing of the woman of my dreams at the moment:huh::sad:

The Astra needs to find stupid buyer this week, my mate's son has decided after all, he won't be coming to collect as it's too complicated for him in London to organise moving it up there.  London has plenty of cheap cars.

Well, even if I am incapable of finding a girlfriend - I am not bad at predicting the future!  I knew that the first time you were let down by that "buyer" he would never show.

If you think it will pass an MOT then I'd at least take it for one and then sell it for £300 on Gumtree as a good runner with 12 months MOT.
