My mother was born and reared in Belfast, hasnt lived there since 70's but never lost the accent, I can still hear her call echo in my head from downstairs 😠"Leonard!!!"

My wife's accent is a tad Dublin but I've acquired more of a Dublin accent than she ever had having worked with alot of people in the region.

Also on a seperate topic you wouldn't believe the amount of lads have grown Connor McGregor beards and sun glasses,

I went in to petrol station to pay for fuel last week and the guy was ginger and everything I had to comment said "jaysus man, you look just like that fella Connor McGregor"

Beards are all the rage these days, it's just a new fad...

.......he says tucking his hairy face into his t-shirt as he types this....

I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

  • I do like finally finishing a model kit I first started 5 and a half years ago.  It's a very special model that i was supposed to finish by the time the aircraft took her final flights across the UK

I can't really grow a beard as I have vitilligo on lower left jaw line and part of neck the skin has no pigment and hair grows white so I'd need to dye it 😅

An Irish accent is a sexy one too.

Forgot about Irish, went to school with an Irish girl, she was absolutely beautiful.  Proper relationship material, she was a red head as well( It would appear I have a fetish for Red heads) no idea what she looks like now, she migrated to the land of Oz

Trust me, they don't all look like Karen Gillan...  And as for the accents - well - if you are blind then you'd be more than happy!  If you have the gift of sight, you'd be rather disappointed by the majority.

That's a massive shame, bit like most of the girls I know from college and school.  All starting to look like their mums now

You guys are so shallow! Guessing you're not Brad Pitt lookalikes either lol.

I would post my picture here, but I wouldn't want to put you all to shame with my pulchritude...

Indeed, hence why I'm quite happy with my single life for now.  I've always said that if I had to choose between driving a Vauxhall or not having a car at all - I'd opt for not having a car!  Same goes for women.  Unfortunately, a lot of them round here are "Vauxhalls".

I do like putting the new coffee machine into use...  I can't quite believe it, but for the first time in years I have a slight caffeine buzz (must be strong coffee!).

I look the spitting image of my dad.  Who's fat, old & grey.  I'm just thing, young & starting to go grey.  OR if I look in the mirror, I think I'm either Thor or Hugh Jackman

What about, Mother AND twin sisters?

Hey any port in a storm + you don't look at the mantelpiece when your poking the fire.  The answer to your problem is a brown bag & if they have horrible teeth & a rough voice then add a sock or an apple

Depends on how many gaps are between teeth

I do like finally remembering to charge up and put the battery booster in the boot.  Might need to get a bigger one for the Hyundai though, as I don't think a little £30 booster would be sufficient for a V6...

Having remembered to dress correctly for forecasted heavy rain, Brandy and I had a wet but pleasing walk around the lanes of Corfe Mullen:smile:

Unfortunately it was general refuse wheelie bin day, which results in slower stroll; as Brandy likes to sniff every bin, at least twice:laugh:  Tomorrow's morning stroll will also be slower, recycling wheelie bin day!

The Clarke 4000 is an excellent booster, covers diesels up to 4L, however you may not want to spend £138 on booster pack.  Although Machine Mart do have their VAT free days, when it can be had for £114

I have a Phase 4 booster from Halfords and it's a decent bit of kit.

I like that my local Ford dealer had 2 Fiesta black editions and a 5.0 Mustang parked up in the PDI bays to nose around at while the BeaST was having it's first service (in perfect order btw).

I do like a day away from hell tomorrow, and a driving lesson in the afternoon.  When I get my next salary (if I don't get sacked before then!) I'll be insuring myself on the 405 and get some real driving practice.  Lessons are great but they only give the basic information - in order to actually learn you need to experience those situations in the real world rather than a structured learning environment.  Not looking forward to fitting the L-plates though...  Just doesn't seem fitting for such a graceful car.

Mike Bassett England Manager. 'Nuff said.

The only one thing I do like from today is the new Osram Night Breaker headlamp bulbs!  The 405 now looks like it has proper headlamps rather than paraffin lamps.  God knows how old the previous bulbs must have been - possibly original.

Bingo lol

Went over to Scunthorpe Sea Cadets for their annual Easter Bingo night lol

Didn't win anything, but it was a good laugh! And I returned the electrical tape I accidentally stole at the weekend...and picked up my boots that I forgot lol

I'm not even going to ask!!

I do like that I finally got to give the lawns the first trim of the season.  Admittedly in between three separate showers of varying strengths of rain.  They no longer resemble unkempt undulating meadows.

I also like finding prior to mowing that I'd discovered and removed all of Brandy's winter deposits.  Sometimes in the first mow of the season one or two can be "lost" amongst the lengthy grasses; only to picked up, shredded and ejected by the mower all over the mown part of the sward.

I do like seeing on Facebook that a fit girl I went to school with has uploaded a photo with a girl I was obsessed with to see she is still absolutely drop dead gorgeous & I mean astounding/beautiful etc etc etc.  Yes I did try and go out with her & yes I got rejected, probably end up with some hotshot CEO or investment (b)anker

And on a happier note, 6 days off WOOOOHHHOOOOOOOOOO
