AndrewL
Hi everyone... Now that my car isn't brand new anymore *sob* I'm seriously thinking about getting a private plate. The two I've narrowed it down to are... V111 ALO - As many of you know I'm quite a big Aston Villa fan (no jokes about Chelsea please! Michaels already had a good go!) so would like to reference that in it if possible. Also, obviously my name is Andrew and the first two letters of my surname are LO, hence (ALO) V11 AGL - V11A being the slight villa reference, and my initials are AGL. Which one would everyone prefer? They're both the same price. :)
aph1101
I think the second one just looks a bit better... don't ask me why though, it just seems better! :D
Nug878
I'd go for the one with initials myself. :) I want one with my initials, but them being "LAD" they are quite expensive. So I've settle for a plate which I'm saving for as my next treat. Found one for the cheapest price ... "L22 NUG" (L-Luke 22-Birthday NUG-My Nickname which is Nuggy). As you can probably guess, my nickname has spawned from the number plate on my Focus. Jobs a goodun'. :)
mikester
anything that doesn't follow the pre 2000 prefix style is good, deffo NOT the 1st one as that looks like a pre-2000 plate... what would be the point.. some retards might even think your car is a v-plate
paulworthing
Why not V111 AAL (Villa AL)?
AndrewL
Why not V111 AAL (Villa AL)? That would have been ideal but it comes up as taken on the DVLA site unfortunately. I'm swaying towards V11 AGL now as it's much more obvious what it means I reckon, and I don't want to alter the spacing due to illegality. Michael P
V11 AGL. Looks loads better. Personalised plates......
mark t
I want one, but the one I want is an 11 plate, and as I'm on a 58, I'll have to sit on it a while!
Maffoo
If you get an old style personalized plate aim for as few numbers as possible. V11 AGL all the way
paulworthing
You have to go for the one YOU want coz it is you that has to live with it (my other half brought mine and it is not what I would have picked but hey-ho . . .)
