I don’t want to build peoples’ hopes up too much but after browsing WhatCars’ latest email describing a host of new cars available this year, from various manufacturers, Ford will be bending over backwards to deliver our cars asap…

my reasoning is that the competition is hotting up and although we eagerly await our treasured Focus’s, they’re going to be discontinued from early 2025 and whether we like this statement or not, they are yesterday’s technology. If Ford are not careful , they, and dealers could be faced with a load of cancellations with buyers jumping ship!

Ladies & Gents, just got info, nothing of note on the Friday bulletin.

But the biggest problem, for me anyway, is that i have a 2018 Titanium tdci that isn't that old and doesn't gave me any problem until now and i configured a 1.0 155mhev. Unfortunally here In Portugal at tge moment diesel cost 2.07€ and petrol 2.17 on Best case cenario, much diferent from the time i place the order and the future it's not In our side. Plus, they have avalueted my car but i still drive it and nees to maintain it at my expencess and doing all that hopping for a car that probabillity of been made is 50/50 sucks...

Thanks man, we really appreciate this, let's hope Ford will not stop production at least for the month July and let's see how the things will go...

This is a dilema, we are seeing prices at £2 in the UK... Dont think we will ever see sub £1.50 now, the bar has been set. 

I have a full no quibble deposit refund on my car (i requested this because of uncertain build times etc) , if things get worse, i will seriously reconsider my purchase & get a bike.

OK, so the order table it's open, so weird...In my country it's still closed, you can only buy something from the stock, and there are mainly a lot of Style options...

At least you have this possibility cause you have bike lanes or more responsible drivers, in my country if you're trying to ride your bike you'll be lucky if you arrive alive at home..

No email here yet, also based in UK.

As for the fuel prices, I’d be going electric or a plug in hybrid if I didn’t live in a flat. Trailing a cable down 3 flights of stairs and across a road isn’t really an option unfortunately 😅

Probably because people canceled the orders after seeing that Ford it's closing the Focus manufacture in 2025, that's why... Let's see how things will go, I personally wanted an Active X but it only had the 155mhev version, so I opted for the 125mhev Titanium X version since the 155mhev it's planned for after Dec 2022 , so yeah...In 1-2 years I'll search for a PHEV vehicle, I really hope that the prices will go down and the market will settle and we'll not need to wait 1 year for a normal car...

November though I made changes to the order in December/January (can’t quite remember when) once the Ford website actually updated so I could see options. Not sure if that would make a difference but my order date still shows as November.

Nothing from my dealer yet…(Gates if Harlow UK)ordered in October last year, ST line Vignale 155ps auto. Matrix headlight, pano roof, BLIS, Driver assist & parking pack.

Might be worth screenshotting my picture and asking. I only ordered mine 2 weeks ago (but it was from a existing build slot). I received my email from Ford direct not the dealership. Hope this helps.

Ordered a Focus ST Line (vig) (155) (man) back in Nov 2021, no extras apart from fantastic red, due for delivery to the dealer by mid July. Apparently…..!

Dealer still has no information….  Just asked Ford again via social media chat and they are still refusing to check any orders placed after September last year. ☹️

It is a real shame that information is not fluid. Ford are really not doing themselves any favours on the marketing front. 

If i hear anything i will be sure to relay info to the group. 

Ford Focus 155 Vignale + Paint + Camera. Ordered Nov 2021, contacted by dealer last weekend with updated build date of July 15th. No official build slot so subject to change again.
