That looks good for hair...especially the ear combs.  I can't stand hair tickling my ears!

Ebay bidders are getting daft on that particular one though, cheaper at Argos, although admittedly not in stock atm.

I don't like that I can't seem to 'copy' any pictures from websites on my phone any more...  Anyone know a way around it?  Still works fine on PC, and I just right click to copy pics onto here, email or messenger, but can't do it on the phone.  Presumably it's something to do with copyright but I'm not using these images as 'my own' or for profit, just sharing them on other platforms which I don't think is illegal!

I don't like realising it has been 18 months since I started and moved the 405!

Tried to start it this afternoon but it's just cranking although the fuel gauge is showing less than empty so that might be the issue...  Admittedly it was right on empty when I parked it there so during my essential trip to Tesco tomorrow I'll fill the jerry can with diesel and try again with 5L in the tank.  Thankfully being an old IDI engine all I need to do if it did run dry is pump the primer bulb and crank it for a while.

My main concern is the brakes having seized on, not so much the rear brakes as the handbrake never worked anyway (plus I left it off), but the front discs look really badly rusted, as would be expected for a car with open alloys parked where it is exposed to a sea breeze...

Mind you being a FWD car even if the discs have rusted to the pads it should break free with a bit of persuasion from the engine, hopefully! 🤞

On Android just touch and hold and select Copy. Don't think it's changed recently 🤔

It has...or at least on mine it has!  Option to copy has completely gone... 🤔Screenshot_20200411-175236.thumb.png.6332ac570cca96089322a012b2ecb956.png

Oops! That'll teach me not to read the original post correctly! 🙄

I assumed you wanted to download the image, which is the way I do it

Sorry 😞

I could (and do) download them but that's an extra step I don't really need.

But it also backs them up to Google Photos and I don't want a load of stupid memes and throwaway joke images taking up space there!

It's so simple on PC, just right click, copy and paste into the thread.

I don't like that you can't operate remote controls from the 1990s without reading glasses!

Health and safety standards these days would probably require you to wear some foot protection when using such a bulky item now too, 😅

I'll be sure to wear my steel toe capped boots in future Lenny, and also a hard hat in case I lift it above my head

With this one you use this dial to adjust the comb attachment and adjust how much you want to cut. First time I've used a electric trimmer. Came with a Gillette shaver the one where the head is able to turn. Might look at doing a chin strip in 2 weeks

I don't like going to Tesco for my groceries at 8AM (as indicated on their website) to find they don't open until 10AM on Easter Sunday, then coming home and putting the parking brake on to get greeted with this!!

Just realised that picture is terrible but the display says "Parking brake fault!" and the symbol between the check engine and battery lights is the EPB fault light.  It still worked (in the sense I pushed the button again and the brake released) but to be safe I won't be using it again until I get it scanned by my mechanic when everything goes back to normal...

THANK YOU VOLKSWAGEN for fitting an electric system to replace something that was done perfectly well by cables for decades!

Needless to say my Sunday has not got off to a good start...

None of our supermarkets are even open on Easter Sunday, is that different for Scotland?  😮

That's true, except for the smaller stores like Tesco Express, Sainsbury's Local etc.
Scotland doesn't have Sunday Trading laws like England and Wales do which stops larger stores opening for more than 6 hours on a Sunday or being closed on Easter Sunday.

Our local store (Co-op) open 7am to 10pm today!😀

I think it depends what area you are in, but generally in Scotland most places are open regardless just with reduced hours.  Of course it would have been nice for Tesco to update their website with the reduced hours for my local store!!

I don't know what it's like up with Kevin (Turvey), but I know in some of the Scottish Isles ALL shops are closed on Sundays regardless of the occasion, simply because it is the Sabbath.

Ah that's interesting, never knew that!

I think it's because we have some of the smaller stores around here, plus in most cases they're actually doing extra opening times for vulnerable groups and key workers.😀

Sneaky edit above haha!

I don't know who's making these rules though, even the small Tesco Metro is closed here today!  Yet it's open 8am-6pm on Bank Holiday Monday...

We just walked the dog down to our local Tesco express for bread and milk. They open as it's part of Esso filling station. Good job too as we would have starved if we had to wait another 20 hours!!

I don't like having to go through three checkpoints on the way to and from work every day, having to explain myself each time as the Garda are rotated around and haven't saw me before,

I also dont like that half the people in my estate were out on the green and in there front gardens having a party last night with a karaoke machine music hopping and sharing the microphone;

Thankfully the police arrived and stopped it; was funny to watch that because there were some residents running in to other neighbours driveways like rats then the home owners denying them entry in front of the law telling them "this isint your house"😂

On a serious note though it really makes us all look like irresponsible people I'm ashamed to give my address to the garda now at checkpoints "ow that was the estate having a party last Sunday" then perhaps thinking I'm an idiot like 40% of the residents clearly are,

When I was in self isolation waiting for 21:00 last night to turn on the lights which I had placed in each window of the house to symbolise to other  people in there houses that there not alone and to show solidarity for those whom have lost.

By 22:00 all the idiots had remembered which hole they had crept out from and began to set up lights in there windows which I felt was pathetic since they had just been out mixing people and alcoholic beverages, there not really in solidarity atall.

Overall my message is to hold out for the recovery; I myself am spooling up for quite a session if I survive but right now I'm playing my part six days per week in manufacturing active pharmaceuticals for a number of vaccines around the world which are currently in clinical trials, looking after my family indoors and using some of my overtime pay to do some shopping online for those family members whom are cocooning many miles away from me.

Feels like a long funeral at the moment; I find myself reflecting alot with family remembering all the good times and saying thanks basically tieing up all loose ends as if a relative does get it there won't be much time to say goodbye, which is good in a way also because there was never an open opportunity to bring things up before the pandemic.

I think most places that normally open on Sunday are open today, with the exception of Dealz/Poundland apparently.

The Western Isles observe the Sabbath still I think more than we do although I can remember a time growing up on one of the outer islands when hanging your washing out on Sunday was frowned upon!

People are spoiling it for others here too. They just aren't taking it seriously enough because there aren't enough officers to deal with people breaking the rules/law around Covid-19.
Last weekend Greater Manchester Police (GMP) attended and broke up over 600 house parties.
