Even that wouldn't dent my insomnia, but it sounds good nonetheless B)

Have you tried counting Vauxhalls rolling off Beachy Head, as remedy for your insomnia?

No, that makes me too happy, I need to think of something neutral which is boring and doesn't effect any emotional feelings...

Always bores me rigid :d

Not being able to access the argos website, I've compiled a shopping list for my son as he's just got his own place and can I get on their website to reserve it?!

Aren't Argos having a week of Black Friday promotions, their server is probably too busy, at the moment

Hmm true, didn't consider that :/

Being away from the gym for a month and coming back and lifting like 20kgs less than before @_@

Are you not lifting much in your restoration/building project, at the moment?

When I was involved in property restoration in late 80's/early 90's, I ended up being fitter and stronger, without even noticing I had :)

I don't like turning around to wind my watch only to find that it has disappeared from my bedside cabinet. It was there 30 minutes ago, and now - vanished.

On the bright side I came across a new pack of Settlers antacids on the floor whilst searching for the watch (which I still haven't found).

Got married in October so got pretty side tracked sorting that out, then of course marriage recovery kicked in, celebrations and booze was a must, then parties when we got home again to further celebrate, of course this including bad eating habits... Also to top it off, what I lift in the gym is more than I'm lifting in the restoration side of things... I'm by no means a body builder and there are plenty stronger than me, but I was using 34kg dumbells, so total of 68kgs... Now I'm playing around with 24's (so 48 total) :(. In comparison, sheet of sound block plasterboard is 'only' 28kgs...

I do what I can to sneak in 'challenges' like lifting double of 'stuff' or 2 sheets of something.. But it's more the awkward sizes and narrow passageways rather than the weight that gets me...

All that being said, it shouldn't take long to get back to where I was (which was moaning and aching around the place after stupid attempts at personal bests)... *rolls eyes*

Ah, I see what you mean.

Mine was restoring what were essentially stone derelict shells back into livable residences, in rural Tuscany, for various ex-Pats mainly. Which involved a lot carrying undressed stone about. It was too steep/rocky ground/ otherwise unsuitable to use barrows.

Ooo very nice, least you had the weather (I'm guessing too hot at times)... Yeh here is a bit more bog standard, plasterboard and plaster are about the heaviest things.... Aside from a cast iron bath we had...

What I don't like today is finding after having to squeeze through an impossibly small gap on my in laws Street, car on there had parked a stones throw away from the wall rather than up against it like everyone else does. And there being a rugged cotswold stone wall on the other side I've had to squeeze through and despite best efforts - my wing mirror (on the car side) got scratched!:angry:

While I'm at it people that park like this in an already very full carpark wind me up as well

Must be a courtesy car to a corsa driver..

That owner should have his/her keys forcibly removed. People with as bad parking as that shouldn't be able to drive a Ford.

The was a product of pleurisy cough green Corsa, in Tesco's car park tonight, stood out like a septic thumb on a healthy hand.

However, this was counter-balanced by red Fiesta ST, in the mother & baby slots, with 65 plate.

The ST is their baby so what's the problem? Haha

Used to start at 5am during the hotter months, otherwise it was bit too much, by about 11am.

What did you with your cast iron bath? There's a massive demand for English baths in France, they're paying 3 times face value, for our baths

No problem with the ST, the pleasing sight of the ST :) distracted the Tesco shopper from hideous green Corsa

It was cracked, so I took the taps and feet off it and threw it at the scrap man along with a bunch of other bits... Got a few squids for it... Very bad condition.

I like how we've all clocked the offending car as a Focus (Mk2.5) lol

We're such spotters lol

I actually took another pic of the rest of their car and their plate in case they came back whilst I was gone and damaged my car. So to name and shame:
