I may be a day or too ahead of you, in the chesty infections, I'm beginning to impersonate a distressed seal, with the productive barking coughing

Just been to check on a boat (Sea Cadet - not mine).

Full of water - estimate around a tonne.

No worries - I'll use the bilge pump (doesn't work in auto).

Ahh...no, the battery has been taken off.

So I spent 20 minutes manually pumping it out. Had to stop because there's oil floating on top.

I had asked someone else to keep an eye on it whilst I was away. When I asked about it last week I was told that it hadn't been looked at for at least 2 months.

That often happens when you ask someone to keep an eye/do something, because you're otherwise engaged.

They're never as diligent as you hoped they would be or you are :(

In addition to USB cable for the Samsung phone, I've now also mislaid/lost my camera somewhere, in here

I've had a terrible cough for the past couple of months now, but strangely I am almost cough-free at home and outside but as soon as I step inside work I can't stop hacking up my lungs. One could suggest the air conditioning filters are never changed, but I'm sure that isn't the case. After all, the company will spend any amount of money to ensure its employees are in good health... *Cough cough*.

You know the conditions are bad when you go outside for a cigarette break to get some FRESH AIR!!

Your office may have dust trap surfaces the cleaners miss

There is a lot the cleaners miss, trust me.

I don't like how my local Ford garage can't paint 4 reversing sensors the correct colour.

I'm not suffering alone then...

They've tried 3 times now, and now want the car for 3 days to send it away to a body shop to do. I've not even had the car a week and they've had it for 2 days so far.

The dog and I were inappropriately dressed for this morning's stroll: we dressed for dry but windy - it rained, a lot :(

What?? Are they just guessing the colour; haven't they looked up the colour code on B-pillar

Was hoping to diminish my pile of things to add to the Focus this afternoon: the weather had other ideas

Since we returned, it's rained non-stop :(

My pile of mods to add, remains static

I don't like spending almost £10 for a pack of cigarettes and having to see health warnings.

IF I WANTED TO BE HEALTHY I WOULDN'T BE BUYING CIGARETTES!

When will the government realise this!?

That's what I've said, originally they painted them in Deep Impact Blue, the second time they painted them in what looked like some random other form of blue, this time they're just not the same shade of Spirit Blue; trouble is I know they're going to just paint over the bumper as well to try and match in a crummy paintjob.

You could cut out all the health warning photos and make up a set; for a game of snap; when bored at work with colleagues :P

I have no eggs, nor it seems, currants in the house, I will have to abort the spotted Richard pudding I was in the process of making :(

My Mum used to have a GSD. (Long before I was born lol)

Not only did he work out how to break into the egg, he also worked out how to open the fridge, remove the egg, close the fridge and carefully take it over to his bowl.

LOL :D

There by demonstrating the high intelligence of the GSD: of which they're known for :)

I don't like everything at the moment as I'm tired and have to be up in 4 hours for work, I smell but can't be bothered to go for a shower and I am fed up of my hobbies being work and paying bills. Whinge whinge whinge

I don't like the 2 months of paper work I have to do.....

11 packs of a dozen ...

Free range eggs from lidl, bought a box of eggs in boxes.... Minus the one pack... I tend to go through them at a massive rate.. (for protein)... Failing getting through them all, I'll command the wife make me a cake, that should get rid of a load either way....*

* she'll either make one after telling me off, or throw the eggs at me...
