Can anyone help please i changed my bonnet catch and fitted a new lock tested ok worked fine then attached the front grill shut bonnet now it wont release like the its not even turning im the catch is there any way of getting it open without cutting the grill open and removing the lock????

Try wd40 on the lock if no joy put some on the key and wiggle it in the lock

Lock wasnt the problem it was turning but the plastic barrel had come off foumd out when i smashed the grill to peices

Ouch breakers yard or eBay for a new grill then :(

After market debadge one just cant find anywhere that does them

I wouldnt of broke it if i didn't have an oil leak and needed to check and top up

You could always spray one ?

That was my thoughts but a gloss black debadged one and matching bottom grill wud look good on mine i think

Is that your car ? Keep the black grill maybe go for a different colour badge red with a black Ford ?

That grill is in peices had to do it got an oil leak needs tp top it up and barrel fell off the lock
