Received the latest purchases this week so I am fitting them this weekend, so of course...photos coming soon 😁 The van receives so much attention yes, I see people looking at it and walking round it when its parked up, I think sometimes "its just a van, why the attention" but then realise its so different to any other, and when polished really stands out! the most common question i get is "is it on air?!" 🤣

Mike2017
Latest updates on the van 😊 So the reason why I left the original fogs out when fitting the bumper back on was so that I could replace them with these updated versions 🤗 These are xenon ones with halo DRL's, I have wired them as per the instuctions, so that they are fully legal, the DRL's switch on when the engine does and when I put the headlights on at night the DRL's switch off, really chuffed with them. Second purchase was some stainless rings to place round the fog light openings which again have made a massive difference. Third purchase was a set of kick plates as the sill's were a little scuffed from the previous owners so these have really smartened things up 😊 Piccies Sill plates Stainless fog surrounds I hope you like Michael.

Thanks mate 😁 Not hard at all, but I believe the different kits come with different wiring, All I did was type in 'Halo fogs Ford' in eBay and came across these, they arn't cheap thats for sure but I wanted proper units that were solid and reliable and fitted straight in with no hassles, these did all that no trouble. Id expect there will definately be a kit for yours, I'll get a link to mine anyway and then at least you could message the company and see if they do some for yours 👍

Mike2017
Sorry for the lack of updates on the van, due to work being so busy I'm just not getting the time to do a thing to it other than cleaning it. Still haven't got the rest of the colour coding done 😣 however today I did go t chance to whip the wheels off and prep / paint the front calipers/hubs and rear drums. So here are photos 👍 nicely freshened things up. How they were: And the rear drums: As you can see, horrible and didn't compliment the wheels After a thorough prepping process this is how things look now, I chose silver as I have always liked it on calipers rather than a lairy colour. Much nicer behind the wheels now: And the rear drums done in gloss black, massive overall difference now these are done 👌 And naturally the van got another clean Hope you all like 😁 will get the rest of tbe colour coding done asap

Tom-B64
Dude this is awesome!! It's literally like the van version of my car! I personally think anthracite grey wheels would look awesome, but the silver does looks smart!

Stephena1
On 31/05/2017 at 3:53 PM, Mike2017 said: Hi everyone This is my little Courier van, I chose this as it is the perfect size for my business requirements, originally looking at Caddy vans, all the ones I looked at were damaged and just not in a clean condition. I saw this advertised at my local Evans Halshaw (Hull) and went for a viewing and test drive, it's the 'Trend' model with the 1.6L engine which I hear is rarer than the 1.5, no idea if that's true. Absolutely delighted with the van, drives just like a car 👍👍 Modifications so far: • 18" Team Dynamics 'Imola' alloys • lowered 45mm • Tinted windows (Light) • Tinted side and rear indicators • 'Team Heko' wind reflectors • Upgraded LED daytime running lights • Fiesta ST interior foot pedals • Black gel overlays on Ford badges • Chrome door latch covers =============== Tons of things yet to be done, including full colour coding which is up next, along with fitting a front lower spoiler from an ST once the bumper has been painted. Here is the van at the dealers: Once home the first thing I did was tint the side and rear clear lenses along with upper brake light: I then fitted chrome door latch covers which I think is a nice touch: The windows were tinted, wind deflectors etc were fitted then I recently added the alloys and a good friend dropped the suspension for me. I spent hours and hours researching what suspension would fit perfect, there really isn't a lot on the net about these vans so I've had to put some hours in to find out the info. Here is the van as it currently stands today, I've blanked out the rear sign writing as I'm sure this would be in the rules of the forum? Hope you all like the progress so far, colour coding up next. Hi can u tell Wot springs fit it am having no luck with it
Rayban790
Vans looking awesome!!! I’m jealous that I cpuld never justify buying one as this looks wicked! I was just wondering, where did you get your halo fog lights and do they switch off when the headlights lights are switched on?
