I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

  • I do like finally finishing a model kit I first started 5 and a half years ago.  It's a very special model that i was supposed to finish by the time the aircraft took her final flights across the UK

I do like a glass of very good quality white wine...  Decided I'd push the boat out and go for a more expensive bottle, well worth it!

My brother asked me if I grew asparagus and was it grown in a cage? He the texted me this hilarious pun from Tumblr/Facebook

I see we think alike Lenny:smile:

This why I accumulate rather a lot of flattened large cardboard boxes in the garage, you never know when you might need an improvised spray booth.

I love FOC and it's members. Someone always has a solution or a part you need @Cookey09 Damn it. The Cookey09 is a fiesta man not a focus man so no go. ahahahah

I do like picking up a bargain a few days ago!  £50 for a brand new battery, bought in error by the seller who lost the receipt so could not return it.  Should hopefully bring the dead GTX back to life tomorrow morning when I get around to fitting it!WP_20160813_18_05_48_Pro.jpg

I drink anything, within reason...  Red wine and whisky are my main drinks, but I like white wine too.

Most definitely you are sir

I get the asparagus and the 'the 5th Dimension' song reference there.

Very dry.

Sent from my SM-G930F

We had company on Brandy's morning stroll, from Cowgrove onwards, a couple and their eight Cairn terriers, who also decided to walk along the Stour this morning, at exactly the same time. They (the couple) love the Cairn breed and just can't say no, when they hear of one needing a home. They actually have 11 dogs in total, but their two older dogs and a pregnant one, weren't out today.

They were surprised on discovering that Brandy was 15 almost 16, as their oldest two (15 and 16) don't really like walking any distance now and remains at home, on long Sunday strolls.  Round the block is about their limit,  Whereas Brandy's, whilst lower and slower than it used to be, is around 3-4 miles.  Brandy would be a bit disappointed with just round the block:mellow:

I know it's a bit naughty but, I do like beating a beemer at the lights, he was trying as well edging forward as I changed gear

I do like watching an epic battle between a large garden spider and a looper, next to one of my hanging basketed tomato plants:smile:. The struggle went on for about  2½ hours.

It seems the web won't stick to the looper body but does to the feet, and spider hadn't the strength to flip the looper over and hog tie it before cocooning it.  The looper had a defence of playing dead in a C-shape with it's feet tucked under it's body.  It's quite windy which could've benefited either of them, had they seized the moment, as it arose.  The looper, to be blown off the web or the spider, to let the wind flip the looper over revealing it's feet!

Each time I went outside they were still at it, until a moment ago.  When i saw the spider astride the cocooned looper injecting it with it's venom.  i wonder how long a looper sates a spider appetite?

That looper somehow managed to elude my torchlight and tweezer hunt last night, being nocturnal feeders you can only only catch them from 10pm onwards

Wheelbarrows are so awkward to store.

Didn't evade the helpful spider though.laugh.png

Now it can have a good dinner, yummy looper! And hopefully produce lots of baby looper eating spiderlings for next year!
