I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

  • I do like finally finishing a model kit I first started 5 and a half years ago.  It's a very special model that i was supposed to finish by the time the aircraft took her final flights across the UK

We shred all personal stuff too. For around £20 it can save you an awful lot of problems. These days, you have to be proactive, rather than reactive.

There is a local shredding company here that has a large 'dumper' outside for free personal shredding... Seems like a good idea but also seems like a scam! :s

There is a couple around, I know one hotel in Plymouth that outsources it's shredding to another company... How do I know this?

Because the ******* truck backed into my car last year!!!

Oops haha! I mean the 'free shredding' dumper part seems like a scam though lol.

It does sound potentially very dodgy... I wouldn't put my stuff in there... I don't like the idea of anyone doing that whole "yes, we will take it AWAY and destroy it" idea for any items of value..

I always wonder about call centres and things, especially the Indian ones, it makes me wonder if some of the local Indian takeaways have a cousin back in mumbai who runs a call centre and they save all the names and numbers for him... - Sounds untrusting and suspicious, but I do wonder......I'd do it for some spare cash...

There's too many dodgy fokkers out there to take any risks - burn it or shred it personally :)

Personal stuff needs the personal touch...bottom of garden..wire bin....can of lighter fuel....toast optional..

I do like the new star wars movie, blubbed like a baby not long after 'that scene' as I couldn't contain myself any longer

I do like my Secret Santa being a bottle of Marks & Spencer red wine. 14%, can't complain...

I really like that FIFA have finally started to see sense and banned that crook Blatter for 8 years along with his heir apparent Platini good riddance to both now let's hope the football can start doing the talking again

Septic Bladder's finished, all that remains is to lock him up in some Swiss asylum & throw away the key

I do like family owned & run, dog friendly hotels, where your dog is as welcome as you are :)

( Best Western Diplomat Hotel & Spa, Felinfoel, Llanelli. Wales ) - formerly the home of Brian Trubshaw, Concorde test pilot :)

( Caer Beris Manor, Builth Wells, Powys. Wales ) - formerly the home of Lord Swansea :)

I do like all the animals standing quietly eating from their bowls, the cat's with their cod pieces and Brandy with her chickens :)

The cats usually gets theirs earlier but we had to wait for some thawing to finish

I moved a pile of old invoices and have found my camera, that's missing for over a month :)

I was beginning to think I'd left somewhere outside of the house

I'm now making another rich fruit cake with all my spare vine fruit and nuts, and up until now ½ bottle of whisky.

The fruit is being persuaded to absorb the spirit, should be able with stirring and tossing, to get it to absorb a full bottle or so :) and maybe some cognac

You need to buy some TrackR tags.

Now that's a good idea, Clive :)

Gonna get some for the Missus.

Amount of times she puts her phone on mute and then it slips under the recliner mechanism of the sofa.

Last time I only located it due to the very faint buzzing of the vibrate setting.

Thought I'd broken my finger that time too.

I like that the TrackR app will make the phone ring even if on silent.

I could do with a few on the things that have gone 'missing' in the house :)

Once I find them! :P

I do like my early (I swear I have no patience at all!) Christmas pressie! It's a stand food mixer, ala kitchenaid type deal, always wanted one of these, I'm rewarding his good behaviour with home baked fresh bread :d

I have a Kenwood Chef KM201

They're fabulous aren't they?!

Ours is a kenwood patisserie or something, err I'll just go find the box...

We'll be swimming in cakes, bread and meringues for weeks or at least until the novelty wears off lol

Edit: It's an mx316 in pink :d

They are indeed :)

This is my second Kenwood, I used to have it's predecessor the 901A

Are you getting all the extra attachments?

  • Author

I've got the dough hook, whisk and beater already as part of the set, what other attachments are there?

The dough hook was the first to get its outing out of the box (after washing), fresh bread in the oven, be hot cross buns (dough hook again) tomorrow - thank heaven for free fresh yeast from tesco, fresh meringues (whisk) and cakes (beater) like they're going out of fashion lol

There are quite a few, the ones I've gathered so far:

The liquidiser, which comes with an acrylic or a glass jug. The glass is better, as it can withstand hot liquids

The mincer/sausage maker

The pasta machine

High speed shredder/grater

Low speed citrus reamer

The potato peeler

The pea/bean huller

The juice extracter

The nut/coffee bean mill

The ice-cream refrigerated bowl and paddle

The tin opener
