I can hear the planes even at 30,000 feet , got an app on my phone (Flight radar)where I point phone to the vapour trail and it says what it is and where going.

Where do you store a 30,000 foot tape measure...

That app sounds interesting though, I might have to try it!   I used to have a similar one for the night sky which was good.  On that note, did you see the Super Moon last night?  It was huge and really orange as it rose last night, better than the night before which was meant to be the best night for it.

I've noticed far fewer planes as well, can't usually hear them as they must be at 'full height' by the time they get this far but usually see them cross the sky from my chair.  I did see something massive yesterday though, probably an Airbus, that left huge vapour trails which I hadn't seen for a while.

Only a few flights are coming into the UK or leaving the UK at the moment. If it was big then most likely an A380.

Hardly any here at all. Leeds Bradford has no flights in or out and Manchester has also been quiet.
Some people did get a show yesterday though at Manchester as an RAF C-17 Globemaster was doing touch and gos and circuits.

I also have a couple of flight radars including one that also shows military aircraft such as typhoons, A400s, hercules etc.

I did see the supermoon (pink moon) but not til later on as my flat windows don't face that way. I did get some pretty good images of it though.

There was an exceptionally red sun at sunset yesterday.
Most probably missed it but I was driving across south Dartmoor and got a lovely view over the hills.

I already have UC4. I got the special edition on release day with the steelbook, artwork and Drake statue.
My mum is improving. She's on less oxygen now, is eating and is able to walk around using a frame. Hopefully she will be able to go home next week.

Couldn't decide this post should be in the like or don't like.

Noticed over the last few days, there's hardly any aircraft In the sky overhead. That's the like bit due to less people traveling / spreading the virus.

The not so like is what is left in the sky are raf Hercules and Airbus transporter planes in the sky. Hercules just went over going from brize Norton  heading north.

We had a flight from Brize Norton the other day! Shetland have also had 2 emergency flights I believe.

I do like that after 2 1/2 weeks I can finally get into the VPN and do some work!!  Never thought I'd want to work but I'm going crazy not having anything to do on days when I can't go out into the garden...

Did you see Car SOS this week?  They did a Mk1 Escort Mexico....literally the only salvageable part was the roof skin!

Don't think I'll ever understand the attachment people get to cars like that...would've been so much cheaper and easier to buy another Shell!

I'll need to check that one out 😉

I'm going through a phase of watching Fantom Works on Quest? I quite like the back stories on some of the folk and cars that they do. I also like his and his crews ethos and work ethic, and looking at old American cars is always good in my opinion 😎

Yeah, the Fantom Works on Thursday evenings are new ones at the moment.  Again though, people seem to spend ridiculous amounts on them!  I worked out that it was about $150k to restore that (umm, green one! ) for the couples 50th anniversary this week.  Utter madness!  😮

Not watched that one yet but I had a quick look at the start and I think it's called a Mercury Cougar, looks kinda cool.

Was a very brief stop at Prestwick then back down near RAF Fairford at  350ft 165mph in loops. Must have been a bit of training also. Another one went out about an hour ago and was overhead at 2000ft.

That's really good. I'll expect her to be off oxygen then 👍

RAF been busy everywhere today, or I've noticed them more with less civilian aircraft In the sky.

Couldn't see these ones on Flightradar24 but someone had a screenshot of their paths but hasn't answered the question as to what app it was.

I do like being able to get from my desk to my armchair in 30 seconds.  Much better than the 45 minute drive home I normally endure!!

Oops...spoiler alert! 🤭

Just checked myself and it is a Mercury, but it's a Cyclone not a Cougar.

£15k seems a bit cheap for that?  Get it bought!!  You can wrap the car a much more suitable colour...
