Don't suppose most will care.  But for those that do, I'd definitely recommend just asking them not to wash before delivery.

My 2018 Focus still have the plastic on the ac screen and In the door plates. They look blue because of that. I always recommend to the dealership, dont scratch the paint or you will pay for it. No washing and no polishing. 

Well that was a right royal bulls up.  The dealer ordered Titanium Vignale and not the ST-Line Vignale which I asked for.  So am waiting on the dealer to ring me with a resolution, There is only one in my mind.

Telling me, I didn't realise at first. Then I noticed the break calipers weren't red, then single pipe exhaust and of course ST-Line badges were missing amongst other things. Deep down I new it was to good to be true 😭

Yes they are.  Have just had the call, they offered me The next service free plus £250 if I take the Titanium Vignale. Which I have turned down, and am walking away from it. Am not in any urgency to change it would have been nice to have the ST-Line its a lot of money not to get what you pay for.

Damn, sorry to hear this happened, what a pain damn... How could something like this happen, did it also say St-Line in the page that the dealers can see the status, vin etc?

Good you didn't take their offer, unless they offer you something absolutely ridiculous hold fire until you are assured a ST Line.

I honestly don't know what they were looking at as they placed the order the following day as they couldn't get on the system properly, while I was there. My paper work states ST-Line.

Agreed, they said they couldn't order an ST-Line at the moment, and even if they could it would be 6-12months before delivery. I might of considered if they had come up with a ridiculous offer.

I see. Very weird, I cannot get my head around this. You also mentioned that you had opted for the design pack with the red calipers which if I recall correctly is not available for the Titanium line. This makes it even weirder. I remember when I ordered mine that the dealer had to get the OK (took 3-4 days) from the factory that the specification of the order could indeed be built. Anyway, what a royal **** up..

Titanium Vignale should be the 'current' spec that's most suitable for me, but I really don't like that...  The wheels look weird, although I'm pleased to see they're only 17's after the 18's on the previous Vignale.  Front bumper also doesn't look right, perhaps it's the black inserts on a black car.  Although that dust and the grey plastics & tyres would put me off ever choosing black as a brand new car colour!  (Rarely get a colour option used, both my Mk2 Focus and Mk6 Golf were black lol).

I think you've done the right option by walking away.  Sadly this isn't that uncommon from what I've seen on other forums.

Yes at first I thought that was mine till I looked inside, as it was a manual gear box, not auto that I had ordered. and a 125 not 155.

Gutted. Sorry. Had my hopes up for ya there.

Just back from my dealer, all production/ estimated delivery dates are gone on his screen... 

Hi guys long time lurker,

have a st line magnetic no extras on order since 11 January 2022, estimated build date has been changed to November now.

I know a few of you guys had said build dates were around October but theres mine now.

My dealer offered me a white titanium Vignale yesterday, said no, sat inside it though with sync 4 and it was stunning.

Scotland Uk.
