Reading the last few posts, if say Matrix lights or maybe sunroof was a big problem for Ford at the moment, then a simple question to customers asking if those options were a deal breaker would seem appropriate. Especially in light of the current circumstances… but the lack of any meaningful communication is a real concern for us. 
I really want the car I ordered, but this whole experience has put me off ordering a car from Ford ever again.

And if I’m ever in the position of contemplating buying a new car in the future (which is unlikely) I will wait until there’s a’fire’ sale of cars out of fashion or ‘demonised’ because of their pollution properties!

At the moment, none of us have a later build estimate than October.

If that comes true, and they're what we ordered, I'll be quite happy.

I think updates will be quiet now due to the shutdown, but the weeks through September up to October will either give us confirmed vins and loads of confidence.......

......or month on month slippage.

Correct me others....

But I think it means you have all the letters of the VIN which are all based on build location, bodystyle, engine etc.

What you don't have is the last 6 digits which are the number order in which the cars are built. 000001 first etc.

I think they can only assign the number when there's certainty about when in the build schedule it will be built. 

I.e. they don't have a build slot for your car yet....

The VIN number must be 17 digits long which mine is but I'm guessing it only becomes searchable in Ford Etis once production has started. 

Been on holiday so I'm a bit out of the loop with everything. Added my order to the google doc though.

Still only got the 11 digit VIN for now, might have to chase things up again with the dealer since it's past the estimated production date I was last given.

All you need is to figures out the first numbers witch In my case are WF0PXX for the Station. Search In the net by the body type you ordered and then introduce it In the etis. I think that you need a registration to see the extended info. No money needed. If anyone needs i can search, the only thing that we see is production date and the production info, color, type, engine, equipment, software info, no names involved.

Mine included the WF0PXX at the front but still can't be found in etis

Mine didn't show up in ETIS for quite some time after I had the VIN.  The build date also changed once the car arrived...yes, build date, not registration date, so I wouldn't rely too much on ETIS at this stage.

Mine checked out, build date is the same from the order list. 

If you have a hatch on order, it should be WF0NXX as the prefix.

Assuming it hasn't changed for facelift.

Do note, it is a zero, not the letter O.

So WF0PXX for estate, WF0NXX for hatch.

It won't usually appear on ETIS more than a week before production though, sometimes its after. Just depends on Ford's systems

My dealer emailed me yesterday, mine was down for July/August build. He said it’s now showing as September with estimated delivery to dealer of Oct/Nov. Ordered on the 17th of Feb this year 1.5L ST Line Vignale Diesel Automatic.

How you can check if car has dynamic pixel led headlight or normal matrix leds? They look same from outside but how be sure?

I think on Focus you have only 2 options: normal LEDs and this Dynamic Pixel LEDs which are matrix of course 

Fixed LEDs have one line for the daytime running light under the main lamps.

 

Dynamic pixel LED lamps have the daytime running light signature above and below the main lamps.

Also the lamps inside are different. Fixed = visible chrome reflectors.

Matrix = individual swivel square units with no visible chrome reflectors, so they look a bit darker.

Chera is right, these are the only 2 options. Fixed LEDs and dynamic matrix pixel LEDs.

To see the difference, Google the face-lift ST as it comes as standard with the matrix lights

Hello guys, good news from my side, the most pessimistic person in the world regarding the Focus delivery it's now really happy 😄

My dealer informed me that my Titanium X 125mhev it was just build a few days ago and in a month it should arrive at him, so excited to hear this.

So yeah, it's definitely a lottery regarding the orders since I ordered in Feb 2022 and in a month I'll have my car, finally :)) 

Too bad that it's on Chrome Blue and not on Fantastic Red as it was my wish, but I think I can live with this ,,issue" 😄

Good to see the Feb orders are coming through.  I think they closed the order books in March so I would assume they are a bit close to clearing the back log and may open the order books again soon,,

Not really, I have preordered at launch in Oct 2021 (but officially registered by Ford in their system on 02.11.2021) and I still have build estimate of October...

I am still of the opinion that they are trying to postpone the orders that are less profitable because of the discount and initial lower price (in the hope we cancel them), which is really scummy... but hey, what do we know.

But this leads me to believe this was a slot for a canceled order in Blue that you luckily got allocated.
